Camera Blocker - Anti Spyware

Find it really complicated to use. It's also annoying and most features require payment to work. A bad app at the free level. Not encouraged to pay for upgrade with such difficult basic features. Looking for a better replacement.

Not bad I suppose, though there is no real proof that it works. I still cover the cameras on my phone with electrical tape (both front and rear) just to be on the safe side. I've had three of my phone's hacked by corrupt staff at phone stores and malls. It's getting more common now. There is now no longer any such thing as confidentiality or privacy!

Instantly asks me to rate it. And no difference. Seems like a waste of space to me so far wont even let me use my camera

One worry. Device Administrator. I am not particularly concerned about it. But others are. If there was a way that this app would not require that permission it would make people more comfortable. Your Microphone blocker does both require the Device Administrator permission. Other than that both seem to work fine. On a side note I have scanned both your apps with a Anti-Malware and anti ransomware program and your apps come up clean. Thanks!

Works just as advertised. Press a button to block the camera. When you want to use the camera, press the button again to turn it off. There's really nothing complicated about it. You can even have the app turn off for a set amount of time then restart again on its own. The first time you use it, it asks for camera permissions (which to me is a very reasonable request for a camera blocker app) , then later it will ask you to rate it once. You can choose not to rate it if you don't want to, just say no thanks and that's it. The ratings really help the developers of the app though, but there's no requirement to rate it. I've been using the free version and it's been working with no issues or restrictions whatsoever, and so far it's blocked the camera every time it's tried to run.

Just what I was looking for was hoping it would do some more stuff but what do you expect for free? I think it does a great job. And by the way to all the haters, it does not ask you right away to read it it gave me several uses before it even asked. And even if it did so what what's that got to do with the quality of the product? Grow up. Go outside every once in awhile. There are things going on in the world besides Snapchat Facebook and Instagram

You do not ask permission for camera access...but one of your 2 functioning background services is "Camera Access!" I turned it OFF via root exploit privilege! ..I also discovered that your apk does not need this service to run it properly. So now who is the spy? I will disable my cams by myself. Cant trust nobody these days

I like the fact that no one is watching...............it is none of their business, and picking my nose should be done in private. just adding that this app does what it is intended for, and it is trusting. even from being obsessed with taking selfie after endless selfies this app help curb the appetite.....(burp).......if you ain't tried it you won't know who is watching........eewwww

This is God's captain. I like your app because I think that it does protect me and keeps me safe and have privacy so I Give It 2 Thumbs Up Until I hear differently or I see that my privacy has compromised for me on this app.777

I had a problem at first but Frenzy coders worked with me in a timely & professional manner (you guy's are to be commended) & their solution worked without a hitch. A great app for security & peace of mind, well worth getting the full version as well, check out another app of theirs also, "microphone blocker". I just installed your app however i would like to know how reliable it is.i recently learn through 360 security software that there are 2 intruders who took me selfie and i saw the pictures.one through google took the pictures one through malwarebytes..i have lots of security software instaled but all seem to be useless won t stop them.how this software will work exactly? i wish i have another way to be sure that nobody spy my phone since software 360 i had to uninstall due to the warning i received from another security app.. .i want to be sure and be warned if someone take selfie not to be relaxed while this spying keep going...your software is going to block only the camera or all the other softwares entry? because i learned that they can spy through other softwares.Thank you

Then I got this camera blocker along with the mic block. Before I had the blockers my Android got hot not on charge. The battery lasted maybe 10 hrs. With a 10 min charge twice. I have never had this Android go 2 days now. It says 49% battery left 36 hrs later. I didn't even have it on charge over night. This is with the mic and camera blocked. What every the deal is , these blockers are working. It's not a hand or leg warmer anymore.

Only rating it now, cuz I am prompted to right away before I even get to try it out... Its a neat idea I'm sure everyone can get onboard with. However, if its not as honest as much as we're supposed to trust these with, then one star if this ends up actually being a secuity breach. Hopefully, that won't be the case, and there are services out there with like-minded people at the helm. Not using Google everything is something to be thankful for, because their definition of privacy has gone all out of wack.

**App does exactly what it says**... if you use Knox you need to install there to if you want to block that camera... using Knox is like 2 PHONE'S in one... casual and secure.. To the person who rated 1 star clearly knows nothing about technology and is likely to be one of those people who doesn't read app permissions , I bet he would download a wallpaper app that collects your GPS text messages and phone calls without knowing. Nothing is wrong with that but don't diss high quality app that is free with a few ads and ask you to rate it when it is free. Your comment is ridiculous grow a brain and read a little before disrespecting someone's hard work what helps make you safer. If you like the app support good Developers like this... buy it! Works as advertised. I use my flashlight often and yes it does block it. However conveniently it is quick access to the running app (paid) to temporarily disable it and then enable it again. What would be super useful is if it could be set to automatically enable after a set time period - maybe even user adjustable...

Worked exactly how it was designed to. Downloaded 3rd party app to verify background shutter access. Clearly worked. Currently a free user, that being said for free it works well. Turning on and off to take pictures is a small price to pay for privacy. Upgrading I see makes this easier. Would be nice to see which programs are accessing the shutter and when for personal preference, instead of using a 3rd party app. Thank you.

I like the app but am curious does this app block both cameras and unethical screen shot capture

Seems effective & does what it says, but it does take way too long to clear the unlock notification before the camera is usable, hence preventing the ability to quickly take pictures when the need arises. Really no need for such delay with the processing capacity of phones now, hence only 3stars, would otherwise rate 5.

It keep this nose person off my phone. Wish they had a app that tell you when someone is around your apartment or home. I think I just created a new app

When needing to use the double tap camera app with phome locked. Needed it in a road traffic incident. Missed the moment. Nice idea of an app but a hinderance

What a pity that there is no whitelist for apps. On my OnePlus 3t it is not possible to start the native camera app by double pressing the power button as this app blocks all camera apps :(

Camera Blocker works well, but it renders my video recorder useless on my Sony xz premium. Keeps saying its in use elsewhere even with cam block off

Very informative and more than adequate defense. If this creator has more anti-spy apps I would purchase them and recommend them to others. I have however found that this program disables flashlight widgets. Naturally it should since that is part of the camera. Unfortunately I cannot seem to undo that with anything short of buying the app. The timed unlock allows temporary camera usage but the widget is still inop. Even while app is admin, disabled, all applicable check marks checked, (except for paid ones of course) and offering usage permissions I seem to have lost the flashlight usage. In all other categories this program is legitimate and effective. Can you possibly help me with this?

Ok app but a bit slow to unlock ???? and then a large info block is across the camera ???? screen for a few seconds but this is ages when trying to take a moving picture but you can't see your settings button ???? Sony xperia x user paid version

it blocks the cam hovewer one can stil access it trough the Samsung Secure folder, so it's kind a fake cam blocker, probably just for us to believe how no one could access our phone cam...like samsungs an co. (not so) offline TV's..

Not sure how to rate it. It does block me from using the camera, but the question is, will it block others from accessing my camera? Does it block Google from accessing my camera? Okay, but my other question was, does it block Google? You know, the big company that owns the playstore here, YouTube Ect...LOL Okay you got 5 stars.

Blocks the camera access to all apps and notifies you when an app tries accessing your camera. Didn't realize how many apps tried accessing my camera with no real reason at the time.

Desperately needs a whitelist. My flashlight seriously does not work when block is enabled

But now when I put in my pass w. it does not let me push ..done.. instead it goes Straight into the app I am unlocking .. as if to bypass the 'done'' Button... and a Delay in the Request for a pass word, when I switch into a app, while I have other app"s running ? Great app, but would be even better if the app would bring up the unblock button when you pushed your camera app icon, rather than just a message to select in notification bar.

Can't even block camera after using this app. It must allow blocking and unblocking for me on my device, isn't it!

cannot activate lock. nothing happens. even the cancel button doesn't work on this Samsung J3 with Metro pcs. can't even deactivate Norton app lock as well.
