About CalRoadReport Travel & Traffic
CalRoadReport gives you a real-time look at current highway conditions, traffic, road hazards and accidents across California. There is also a section with recent traffic snapshots so you can see exactly what the roads look like. CalRoadReport will even display your current location in relation to live traffic cameras on a detailed map. Store all your commonly used freeways as favorites for easy access. Information from the CHP and CalTrans is included. Now includes various travel destinations and surf-cams around California.
NOTE: The latest update will remove all favorites and you will need to add them again. This will solve many issues and is unavoidable.

Please note we do not maintain or provide the cameras featured in this app. Cameras are provided and maintained by the California Department of Transportation. We cannot fix cameras or add new ones in your area. If there are no cameras in your area you can contact Cal-trans directly to recommend one be installed.

Oh yes! If you live in California vor are visiting and going to be driving California highways you gotta have this App. It has all the information you need to know. The only stone I'll throw is Cal-Trans could be more diligent on updating short term projects in local district areas. Otherwise, pretty flawless, get CHP incidents, road cameras, make a list of highways you are interested in, forget the rest - unless you're just plain old curious. (BTW - IF YOU'VE obtained a new phone, reinstall this App. I've found sometimes uninstall and re-install solves a host of problems on most Apps.) Oh Yeah!

You k kw I have been using this app for years! While extremely easy to use, I must say after all these years I expected more attention to the app. It's still hard to read and no customizing anything. But hey! Still works!

Worst app I've ever seen. I'm shocked Caltrans direct people to this app. There's no Maps, no quick look of traffic speeds and CHP incidences. Ugg! I will just use the Caltrans site through my phone browser

Driving truck esp. In the winter months up in the hills this app is very helpful. Would be better if it have alerts on condition changes and incidents on saved towns and routes.
