Freeletics Gym for Android
It's a fine app. It bothers me that it doesn't take into account what I can already do. Example: I don't think 40 lbs is a sufficient weight for a 5x5 bench press. But the exercises are spot on and if i tailor the weight myself, I do get great workouts. Revisit. Re-did athlete assessment and it increased the weight.
I'm enjoying to use this app now every day I go to the gym. For the ones strong-minded this is great as it makes you want to beat your records if you don't cheat. Although, there's few things lacking - I'm pretty sure I seen it was possible to see and share stuff with community, but I can't find how in this app - I'm also sure I've seen advertised we would see "our ghost", and compare with last time we done such exercise, but also didn't see that. Would be good to know that after each split of rowing "you're ahead by 6 secs" or "you are on fire today" - would be great to upload pics at the end of every week, and automatically see in the app our real progress - that would be also great for your promo videos
I've tried so many other programs to lose weight. None have given me the results this has. Combine this and the nutrition aspect and you're set. The workouts are easy to follow and intense.
Its frankly just a great app, its simple but effective and i have already started to put on weight and get stronger, also it just makes me feel good but it really could do with more toutines etc without having to pay
Easy to use and keeps you on track to reach you fitness goals. Best app purchase I've ever made in my entire life. Of course the most important thing this app does not include it's your discipline!
Good app and coach is a great way to stay motivated. I only wish there was more variety in the workouts and an option to change the back and forth between lower and upper body workouts, to a full body workout.
I enjoy this app! Yeah I may just have dumbbells instead of a barbell but that's easily modified for by performing the same movements. This way you have to have more control over each motion which requires more strength!
Paid subscription, coach won't load. Told to wait a week and reinstall. Still doesn't work. Complained again and no answer yet......
Good stuff overall although there still a few bugs to correct in my opinion but will recommand.

The programs work well but need more variety. Alternatives for each exercise should be offered in case a barbell isn't available (i.e. with dumbbells). It's lacking integration with Google Fit and allowing viewing details of past workouts (both available in the Bodyweight app). Also, the videos are being deleted with some updates which isn't ideal when you have a limited data plan. An estimate of the calories burned would be great too.
The app is a great, however it is terrible that there are no apps for smatwatches
It's good to not have to think about what you're going to do and keep a record of what you've done. However there are no exercises for calves or forearms, I don't want tiny calves with a big upper body lol. Plus when I increase my weight I'm not sure if the coach recognises that, there's no feedback? Plus I want alternative exercises for when I don't have access to a bar or heaver dumbbells. I only have machines.
There are some equipment I don't have at the gym and there's no way to replace the exercise through the app, so for me it was just wasting my money with the subscription.
Cannot play video (again) after had been fixed for about 2 weeks. Also can I change my focus workout before 1 month?

I've been using this for 8 months now after replacing BodBot just to get some variety. I have to say I sweat and have seen incredibly fast gains. The workouts generally need only two barbells, and sometimes a rowing machine or pull up bar. I do like being able to manage the subscription in the google play store, and live that it includes bodyweight when I'm not near the gym. They added skipping rests, which is great. I wish I could see details of past workouts. Overall great app.
Overall the app is good but to access the other workouts you're forced to buy the coach. There should be a pro version for people who want full access but don't want/need the coach. Maybe one that allows you to unlock workouts with the points you make while working out (coz otherwise what's the point of them?)
Just one of four incredible apps. If your wondering if you should download, give it a try. You won't regret it

I like the app in general. It could have more variety and also please combine all three apps. Would be nice to have a combined news feed.
Would give 4 stars but needs community feed. I gained 5 lbs muscle over 15 wks through bodyweight partly because of the community accountability. FL when are you going to make a gym news feed/why not? Thank-you you guys rock, Oscar Nova Scotia, Canada
Routines are too light, I waste a lot of time and by the end of the workout I feel that I did do much.
It's called FREEletics and then when you login it asks you to subscribe, looks good but abit misleading
Very good but a bit too hard if you are a beginner! Nevertheless and independently of the difficulty of the exercises the app itself is great
FREELetics surely the emphasis should be on the FREE! I saw a video review and thought this was exactly the way for me to change my lifestyle but this is misleading ...It may be worth the money ....But u should definitely change the misleading name
I am returning to the gym after a long hiatus. So I used it to give myself a schedule on workouts. Works great for me but it's missing some variety in exercises
I have experienced a couple bugs throughout using it, but nothing too awful. I really enjoy the app and have seen a lot of improvement since starting in september
They need to add dumbbell alternatives for people who work out at home and DON'T have room for Barbells

I've been going to the gym on-off for about a year now, and the last 2 weeks using this app at least 4 times a week has got me working harder than ever before. Coach really gets you motivated, and just being told exactly what to do is great. I do wish it had a few extra's, things like taking photo's at the end of the week, a few options to customise workouts like letting the app know I don't have access to certain equipment so I swapped it out. Overall though I'm really happy with the month-subscription, and will be extending it to 6 months.
