I had downloaded 2 other tv remote apps and had absolutely no response from other 2. So unistalled and moved on to this one. I have a Sanyo tv and Samsung s4 phone. Opened app after installation, appreciated the instant tutorial, chose my tv brand and, whala! Functionality!!! Only hiccup so far is that I can't scroll up or down in Netflix. I think if I click around a bit, I'll be able to overcome that issue shortly. Thanks, developer. Very well done!

The best part I love, two (or more) remotes in one. I can control my tv and sound amp with just this one device. Wait, I take that back. The best part is when my wife thanks me for making her life easier and less complicated. Having multiple remotes sometimes can be a hassle, do yourself a favor and get this app.

Right off the bat it came with Samsung settings and it works fine for my TV. but when I searched for my Charter Cable Box setting which is a Cisco cable box. It recognizes Cisco company but did not have any settings for it. it also did not have my cable company which is very popular, charter. so it did not end up working for me but it did have Comcast AT&T and a few others , about 7 in total . I did not like this out because the most important part for me is to be able to run the TV through the set top box.

Peel Smart remote came with my phone, and I liked it. It was nice being able to control my TV with my phone. Peel had a lot of ads and a long start up time, though, and kept pestering me to log in to social media apps through it. With this you just start the app and instantly have control. It sometimes takes 2 presses of a button opposed the the 1 of Peel, but I'll gladly take that over the occasional 10 second wait of starting Peel if you haven't used it in a while, alongside losing the ads/notifications.

Worked on my vizio,liked the layout. Didn't work on my cable box, panasonic tv, lg tv, or olevia tv. My tv's may be a little old but I know it should work on my xfinity cable box. So I purchased the upgrade hoping the online data base would help. Still only the vizio works. I sent an email last week but no response. Should be 0-1 star,but it is the only app that had my smart and input button on my vizio.

It does exactly what it's suppose to do - it was extremely easy to find my TV and DVD Player brand (Sharp and Toshiba) and it worked instantly. Loving it so far! - The only thing that I don't find ideal is you have to pay money if you want to save your remotes! Other than that, it works great! - Also went from 4 to 3 stars because it won't work for my Danby air conditioner - please fix if possible :)

Works like a charm on my Samsung Smart TV. You need to use your brain, but it's just about the best one I've used. To the dude that makes this, can you add a function to allow me to change my virgin media, my tivo box? I don't like having to use two remotes. Will change my rating to a FIVE once you have replied. My 8 year old son continues to lose my remote for my Samsung Bluray player and it's one of those that you cannot control much from the top. Downloading this app was easy and insulation set up was super easy. So far I love it! It will be fun to tease the kids with too

Pretty good app but the zero doesn't work. If I change to channel 20 I have to press 19 and then do a channel up to get to 20. Lets say I'm on channel 6 and want to go to 20. If I enter in 20 the remote performs a channel up taking me to channel 7 for a second then quickly changes to channel 2. Other than that is a very good app and I use it quite often. Can you guys please add channel up/down to the numbers screen? Vizio TV. Samsung Galaxy S4 phone

Granted, I've only been using this remote for two days but, it is by far the best remote I could have asked for. I have a Galaxy S5 and an Insignia TV and with this remote app they are working flawlessly. Actually, I'll probably still use this IR Remote even if I find my regular one because of the shortcut buttons that weren't on my regular remote (ex. sleep button). All in all, I'm really impressed with this IR Remote app and would recommend it to anyone!! 5 Stars all around!!! :)

I have a newer Vizio tv and it works great I also have a super old tube tv it's a Sharp brand. Believe it or not works great on that one too. I have a galaxy s4. I was very surprised I didn't have to set anything up just download pick your brand and off you go. Wonderful app wish I could give more stars.

This app works and has a massive library of devices. It has random pop up advertising for the unpaid version. I found that some of the IR signals were labeled wrong which adds to the set up time of a custom remote. Where it lacks is user interface, and the widget system. A fully functional and beautiful widget remote, totally customizable, that is what everybody wants.

I have a galaxy s5 and a vizio tv.. this remote app is the first remote app that opened the vizio menu like it should, instead of opening the smart tv menu with youtube...etc. I can now browse my tv as if I had the real remote.. only downside is exiting the app...the only successful exit is with the home button, wish it would exit the the "back" button... but that's not that big of a deal for an app that works as advertised.. thumbs up!

All I did was download the app and my phone immediately turned into a remote control. I am very happy and pleased to say that all of the options on the remote control works from menu to input down to entering the stations manually. This app works great for me. Thanks alot!!!

This works great with my Samsung TV. Doesn't work with Panasonic, it only changes the volume. I've tried it with a few other manufacturers and haven't had much success. Doesn't work with the projectors I've tried it with. Didn't like Version 2 as I found it more difficult to navigate, so I reverted back to this version.

Works on my new Samsung TV but only for power, volume, and menu. It doesnt work for channels or cable. Model of my TV is LN40A550P3F-S. The cable is Time Warner. I would love to have them both work in the same remote. I would pay for the upgrade if so. Thank you!

The remote that came with my Samsung Smart TV lacks a SLEEP button and cannot be used in the dark. It does not have a backlight and all of the buttons are basically the same shape. This app gives me these missing features and more.

I really hate to give it only 1 star but I'll gladly change this if I can get help please. Even if my phone's not supported as that's fair enough. :) Can't get my Vizio to work-just need it for volume control. I'm using the Samsung Note 4. Is this phone supported? ANY help asap would be so appreciated! Thank you!

I'm testing it because it has h.honor among supported devices (huawei yet doesn't implement consumer ir interface for their devices), so I hoped it might be useful. Unfortunately not. Loss o time and human effort.

I like it. It works well with all of my televisions. I only have one problem. I have cox cable and a dvr box for my main tv, it doesn't work with that other than for volume and mute. Hopefully soon you'll get this to work with more cable providers. But, overall, a great app.

I downloaded the app because I found it to be great as far as compatibility. I then decided to up grade the app. I share the same account across two devices, a tablet and a phone. It upgraded one for 2.99 but to up grade the other I need to pay another 2.99. I do not mind paying for an app, however, I do mind paying for it over and over.

Simple. I didn't feel like finding the remote so I just downloaded this app and hit my TV brand and it started working instantly. Totally free, just a few ads would pop up but I bought the full version after a while because they deserve the $2.99. More than you'd pay for any other remote. Anyway, super easy, started changing channels within 2 minutes. Super easy and good guide. Love it. Works instantly and flawlessly

Only thing I was able to program was my tv. Could not program sound bar or any other audio equipment. Did not even have option for audio equipment when looking for ir codes. Could not program dish receiver only had to options to select from. Not a true universal remote. Waste of my money.

I wish it had the programming for my Paramax p-512 audio receiver, but it does work on my TV. The widget doesn't work however which makes it slightly inconvenient to use. A lock screen widget would actually be even better

Its so good that I had to come here right after downloading. Its unlike any other TV remote app out there and its got not annoying ads and its free! I gave this 4 star because the smart button does not work but I can still go there by going into menu. So very well done indeed.

I've purchased this app but the widgets still don't work. What do I have to do to fix that? I should note, the app itself works great! That's why I paid for it. I'll edit this rating to 5 stars if we can get the widgets working.

Works, but overly complicated. I can find the right IR CODE, but i can't go any further than that. Quick TV doesn't allow you to choose the right IR codes. Instructions aren't thorough. So frustrating, if i could just have a default layout and select the ir code that works with the tv.

Using this for a Samsung t.v. and it works great. Picked this one because the reviews aren't just a bunch of gibberish and spam. The developer seems to really care about responding to comments and helping people resolve issues with the app. Thanks for making a great app.

Turned off the annoying music at Carl's jr just now, I feel boss. Still working great just want to see even more from you, my Xbox, the deck in my car, my sound system. I can search some codes like the Xbox but it's not organized at all

Was unable to setup any device. They need a step-by-step setup tutorial. The app is confusing. An edit mode popup appears with every click. Ads popup randomly when you simply click a button. App was designed without thinking of the user.

So easy to use. It's clean, smooth, doesn't take forever to open, and uses VERY little battery life. If you phone comes stock with that stupid "Peel" remote: disable it, if you're rooted Uninstal it, and download this app.

I have been using this app with my magnavox tv for about a month and had no problems connecting and operating the tv. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars are for some features availability only on pay version

Tested with sony bravia. Working. Only problem I faced is, you will have to press repeatedly to increase/decrease volume. It would be better if this remote can do this on continues press.

My son killed my remote to my bluray player so I wasn't able to use it. I downloaded a couple of other remote apps but didn't work. With this app, I'm able to control my TV and bluray! It's very easy to use!

Tested it on my Samsung TV and it works very well. Not too sharp with actions but probably this is how it should be. When I press some button I have to wait for a few microseconds up to a second for my action to be completed. Overall good app.

I don't want it to be such a pain in the "button" to find my device... without going too much into detail you guys need to streamline finding the device code for the manufacturer's name.

Very unintuitive to set up, included codes didn't work properly (for one of the Panasonic TVs), and why are there multiple versions of same exact app in Play store right now?

Deleted too much now no IR debase. Get error when trying to activate buttons on my remote. How do I fix this? Thanks!

I needed a remote for my office tv. Did the trick. I was amazed and a bit confused that I didn't even have to set it up, it just worked

Just downloaded it because my remote broke 2 my t.v (Toshiba ), works great. Now I can finish watching orange is the new black season 3.
