• How IR Universal Remote Works •
Many phones today have hardware built in for controlling TVs. This hardware is called an IR Blaster. Manufactures such as Samsung, LG, HTC, Xiaomi, and Huawei are using the IR Blaster in their phones. It emits an infrared signal which can be picked up and interpreted by the TV. IR Universal Remote has a very large database containing the proper codes for many different devices. If you have the IR Universal Smart Hub then you can connect to multiple hubs at once for controlling devices in different rooms. None of these apps are any good anymore. This one is the worst yet. Worst setuo ever i have no idea how to select specific brand models. Sony codes 1-10 all did nothing on my sony tv. And on top of it not working i get ads after practically every push of a button. What a joke

Hard to configure, even with the brand lookup function. It worked well with a Motorola Cable Box but got stuck trying to get a JVC screen to work. Couldn't find the way "learn" from a physical IR remote either. Samsung Galaxy 7

After paying for the ad-free version multiple times on several phones, now the app displays ads any time I open it, with the added bonus of simulating phone orientation rotations with different ads over and over until the app crashes. This is horrible.
