Non-functional. Cannot receive voicemails or change my custom greeting. Default greeting gives wrong number to callers. Infuriating.

I used to think this app was junk! I could never HEAR the message and many times it eouldnt be written out either. I finally noticed that no matter how much you increase the phone volume you still COULD NOT HEAR the voicemail . I updated the app but never used it,however I hot a voicemail that was very important and because Im on the "Free plan" -YOU GET NO ASSISTANCE FROM FREEDOMPOP"-I was trying everything I could to increase the volume on this voicemail and still could not hear it. I accidentally pressed the SPEAKER ICON below the area where the voicemail should have been. This immediately put the volume at a clear level ! I dont know why the SOUND is TURNED OFF by default, but to those of you who couldnt hear maybe that is the reason. Im still only giving the app a 4 because FreedomPop customer service is horrible for this app.

Really; FreedomPop?! This latest update does nothing to improve this app! Adding a "Waveform to Voicemails" visual is useless!! Concentrate your efforts on fixing things like the Very Low Volume on voice messages left by callers!! You can barely hear the message!! And add a Badge or Banner on the lock screen or app icon to show us that a voicemail message is awaiting. Is that asking for too much?? Or is that too difficult to do?? Turning my phone's volume all the way up makes no difference. Volume Control, Please!

The app has been crashing and can't get it to start on my HTC since a day ago. Disinstalled and reinstalled, still not working.

It's been messing up the sound on My Nexus 5. Putting all sounds at a low level and no control of the sounds. Stopping the app fixing only temporary and reinstall doesn't work.

T70%
by T####:

It only works half the time and it has a echo on the other end and its hard to hear and receive calls

T70%
by T####:

seems like they messed up volume control on my s5 hit speakerphone button and still have to hold it up to my ear volume all the way up on phone ... got a message fri and see it sat some time....otherone worked much better

On the Huawei Honor 5X, running Marshmallow (I think that's Android 6), the app works as it should. My usage is very light. I do not rely on this account as my primary provider. I note that the FreedomPop service in general has improved dramatically since my last test of the service. (Maybe that's partly the new phone and 'Droid 6?) Five stars.

Updated to this POS and now the only time I get notified I have a voice mail is when I open the application... useless

M70%
by M####:

Can't delete voicemail messages. I swipe left, it says it deleted, look again, message is still there. Needs fixing, without breaking more features. Seems like nobody at FreedomPop tests at all before rolling code changes out?

A70%
by A####:

Main app says there is a update but play store doesn't have one. Even though I have the premium service I can't get into the app

T70%

Very very crooked co. Don't even try it it's not worth the nightmares,!

T70%

The original worked fine. Should have left it alone. Updates suck.

First off, it is confusing to offer a paid service called visual voicemail, and not already include a free service of regular voicemail. That being said, $3 isn't that much. Secondly, yeah there's a bug with the volume but it's never busted my eardrums like everyone else complains. Just keep it off speaker and you'll be fine. PS your service sucks but my $40 phone is amazing.

T70%
by T####:

When I open a voicemail it turns my media volume to max, which is way too loud. 1 star because they are taking too long to fix this simple bug.

T70%
by T####:

Does not download messages to listen to or read very efficiently. Always stuck on translate & then messages disappear

H70%
by H####:

It freezes every time I'm in the voice mail app. & I can't receive any phone calls since it goes straight to voice mail.

T70%

Do not give FreedomPop access to your bank account trust me

Keeps getting stuck on transcribe anf then won't play them back for me, even if the transcribe works. Which isn't often! Help!

T70%

Entire freedompop experience was bad, really bad.

Upgraded voicemail app. Suddenly my account is suspended because I have no data left on my plan, when my plan shows I still have over 4GB available. Can't check messages, when voicemail access isn't supposed to count against data usage anyway. WTF?!? And now no audio indication of a new voicemail message. This thing turned it to junk. And why does it max out the Media volume for each and every message played? I play a message and turn it down. Next message I have to turn it down again. And again. And again.

FreedomPop is horrible and not worth bothering with, even for "free" (it's not free). I already had free voicemail through Google Voice, but using FreedomPop forced me to either pay for their voicemail service or have no voicemail. When I already had a voicemail provider, for free.

Best phone service I have ever had. The bad reviews are from Verizon sprint etc union slug employees

Freedom Pop is a frigging NIGHTMARE. Cost me a Fortune. Bad on ALL Levels. Avoid at all costs. Truly Terrible. Switching ASAP.

Voicemail complete shambles. No voicemail notified, caller is informed of incorrect number and when try to leave vm for correct number (strange feature offered) told it is "probably not a valid number"!! But vm pickup cannot be turned off, so callers think you'll get message. Must return missed calls (feature works well) and tell contacts to forget voicemail. Strange irony - only with "Free" service are you expected to pay (£1.99 pm for vm) for service that all others offer free!
