What are users saying about Mobile Data On Off

by H####:

It doesn't work. No error - message, but the app does not manage to turn on/off my mobile data. Kinda bad since it is its only job... well well

N70%
by N####:

"Turn on/off mobile network data with one click", it says. Did I miss the part that explains how to go about avoiding the second click that's required when that annoying confirmation box appears, before the data is switched on or off? How do I disable that, then? Also, as any tab user would have discovered, when I use my Galaxy Tab S in the usual landscape orientation, clicking the icon causes the display to flip to portrait mode till I click that bloody annoying 'OK' button. I think I'll just click the 'uninstall' button instead! Who do I send the bill to for my wasted time?

X70%
by X####:

It knows what I want and does so. Thnx to developers for serving us with our requirement.

I think this is a great app, the only disappointing thing about this app is that I can't save it on2 my memory card. In Australia at the moment Google has us on the pathetic faulty lollipop system & this app won't work on lollipop.

X70%
by X####:

Perfect . I don't know why At&t took away the quick toggle to turn off the data but it's super annoying. But this app is quick and to the point. On or off the end!! Just what I needed

C70%
by C####:

Nice app. Only 22kb uses and appears in app. Proper working in my "I ball Andi Tiger" KitKat 4.4.2 mobile.

X70%
by X####:

The icon is always the same color whether mobile data connection is on or off. Can the icon turn green or some other color perhaps when mobile data is connected? Thanks

X70%
by X####:

Simply said it does nothing with the state of my mobile data.

X70%
by X####:

Pls download it if u are a Noob and this is the worst app ever i dont know y is this even rated this should be out of play store

I used to use this widget for my Samsung Galaxy S3 and it worked well. Recently switched to Motorola X and this app doesn't work with my phone.

B70%
by B####:

Many widgets no longer work on Android 5.1. And no widget works properly if you put it on your memory card.

X70%
by X####:

On my Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo it makes no difference whatsoever to the mobile data settings.

X70%
by X####:

Useless not working on lollipop; if you can make it work on lollipop...

N70%
by N####:

Dowsnt work in 5.0.2 ...this weekend i donno wer my data switch is disappeared...this third party app is also not working

I installed this app because I thought that it's exactly what I needed but I couldn't find the app icon. Then I realized that it's called something totally different than it is in the store. I would give the app 5 stars if you'd both fix that and have the icon change to show the status - whether the data is on or off.

Best only 22kb, no adds excellent very good but after lollipop 5.2 update on my moto e it can not work

X70%
by X####:

Works perfectly on Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 KitKat 4.4. Without this I would need to go into the settings, find cellular data , then turn it on. This makes it so much easier. UPDATE: I wish that this matched screen rotation when it's horizontal, so it wouldn't rotate the entire screen to portrait view every time I use it, and that it had color coding (green background for on, red for off) so I can tell if it's switched on when wifi is turned on on. Other than that, it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

T70%
by T####:

You have to click twice rather than once to get it to work, but it works andvthats the important part.

FINALLY! Like many others, I am sick and tired of having to go through menus just to turn on/off mobile data. AT&T...or somebody...removed any sort of quick toggle and this really helps on my Galaxy S3 running 4.4.2. Now, common sense rules again with this tiny unobtrusive app (permissions are practically none and there are no ads or battery drain at all associated with the App itself).

K70%

It's a useful app indeed. I so far have lost about Rs.500/- by way of imperseptible pilferages by installed ones, some of which switch on Data card without our knowledge ! Prof.V.K.Balan OM

It seems like a no brainer for all phones to have a switch like this. Adding this app does the trick

Its Awesome app no words but my suggestion to developer to remove option which asks on and off option everytime when we enable and disable data if this is done then it will be Marvelous

Z70%

does NOT work on the Galaxy Note 4 via AT&T

Z70%

Works. Does what it says on the package. I would like an option to disable the prompt and just enable/disable data when clicked instead of asking but that's just frosting on the cake.

This was fantastic on the Samsung S4 after AT&T removed the data on/off toggle switch. Recently got the S5 and it does not work, nor any other app I've tried. Would give this 5 stars on my S4, no stars on the S5. Are you developers working on that? Hope so. FYI if you look at the Samsung S5 manual online, there are instructions showing the data toggle on the quick menu strip at top of the screen.

I tried a few of these and they mostly seemed to have problems with switching OFF. No problem here. Many thanks! - Update,-Still works - Reliable, definitely keeping!

App does not run in the background. It keeps my battery from draining by keeping the data turned off when not needed. Great app!

N70%
by N####:

I just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to Lollipop and it's not working. I used it very well on Kit Kat 4.4.4

N70%
by N####:

This app was great until AT&T upgraded their phone and blocked 3rd party apps from being allowed to turn data on and off. Which sucks. And to top it off AT&T doesn't have an app/widget that can do it. You have to go into settings everytime.
