Hi again! This update is a bit more exciting than the last one. Not only it features translations for German and Hindi (more to come, make sure you visit the translations link in the Help & Support section), but I fixed a darn bug which wouldn't show up the "Underclock cpu" tip as applied unless the clock was at least 25% lower than the default. Now it'll say "applied" if the clock is any value lower than max.

I installed Franco Kernel Updater, I think it was, and the last update I saw indicated a reduced screen brightness to save battery.. Occasionally the screen now goes blank on a Nexus 5, and I don't know how to deal with it. Sometimes holding the power button will reboot the phone, but now it doesn't. I initially thought the interface layout was kinda weird, but I've gotten accustomed to this interface, and the frequent updates add new features and fix bugs pretty quickly. Would love for an option to show small cpu and gpu graphs on the welcome screen, right now you have to go to a different segment to see a graph.

Edit: After contacting the developer of this app I can no longer recommend it anymore. Unfortunately after the ~4 days the developer made it very clear he is not concerned with the outcome of his app, only that you donate to him if you are impressed with the first impressions. I can nearly guarantee you will NOT be impressed after a few days with this kernel as you will not be able to make any adjustments or changes without wiping and reflashing the entire system, you will have almost zero compatibility with newly installed apps, and almost zero compatibility with any restores over this kernel. Only a full wipe and flash will recover your build.

Franco just does a killer job at everything. His kernel is practically the gold standard on all the devices he supports, which is a selling point on its own, but his app (this one! The one you're looking at!) is fantastic, too. No other app is as clean, or immediately useful. Tweak like a crack-flashing power user or let Franco's "battery life labs" do all the work for you; this app is truly for anyone with a supported (and already rooted!) device.

I really wanted to flash the Franco kernel on my OnePlus One running LineageOS (7.1.1), but despite being functionally identical to CyanogenMod both the app and my recovery refuse to cooperate with fk-64. I hope the developer will consider supporting LineageOS on my device.

Back in the days of the Galaxy Nexus francokernel was the bomb but sadly this app has been abandoned and left to rot. Using the OnePlusOne this app says the latest kernel revision is r0 and won't let me auto download it. Guess the server he used to use for the app is gone, no big deal. Manually downloaded the kernel from xda and this app detects the kernel and lets you configure the profiles no worries. Sadly the kernel shows its age by lacking support for more modern features like HID support which allows password managers on your phone to type over USB emulating a keyboard. There is also no build for Nougat with the last supported OS being Marshmallow (which is okay because that's what I'm using still but shows lack of active dev) You are then faced with another issue caused by the developer abandoning it which is that the app is using an outdated root access library. When you open the app SuperSU prompts you to grant access as normal but after granting "allow always" every reboot this app will be denied which means any custom profiles and settings you have configured won't actually apply until you manually launch the app. Was good back in 2013 but it's clear the developer has moved on since.
