This is just a shortcut to the Accounts & Sync options in your settings. I can already do this through long press home screen. MyTouch 4g

Worked for a week now it does nothing

Works well with the FV-1 Android TV v2.2 box to provide sync'n for mail and calendars. FV-1 Android TV lacks a lot of core calendar and sync'n features and this is one part of the building blocks required.

Its simple, effective and does what its supposed to without any problems.

Allows you to access sync settings with one touch of an icon on your homescreen. Helps me keep my phone & tablet synced instantly and easily. Now I don't have to go searching through all of my settings and whatnot to find this info. Great app, highly recommended. 5 stars! Thank you for creating this!

Apparently I need this app to receive incoming text messages, but the program frequently has an error & says it will be back soon, but rarely does. Before it worked great! I have an android, anyone know of other apps to replace or when this is going to be up & running?

Yes, you can get to what it does by digging into menus. HOWEVER, at least on a stock rom Samsung via home menu add shortcut, you can't make one to the sync menu; this is the fix if you want quick access to kill battery wasting background data. Most sync switchers (including Samsung's OEM widget) only toggle actual sync but leave background on.

Now that virgin mobile is lowering data speed for high data users i disable the background data wih this app

I turned off data sync and it saved me tons of battery. Now if I want to check my multiple email accounts I just open this app and click sync all. Ty

Identical function to [Eris] 2.1 long-press shortcut. But, if you may not have that functionality or can't find it, this is a good link.

Exactly what I was looking for! I didn't need a widget. Eliminates several clicks just to get to the app sync settings.

Takes right to setting/background data to enable or disable. Only thing better would be a stand-alone toggle widget for background data, which I have yet to find without other unnecessary bells and whistles.

Ugh...I didn't know I had something like this all along in my phone, buried in the sea of icons (so I'm uninstalling): in xperia mini pro, long press the home screen > applications > sync, that's near the bottom. But if you don't have this in your fone, it's still neat :-)

This is the same as clicking on "Accounts and sync" in the main apps drawer. Why would I need an extra shortcut to the same app? T-mobile Vibrant
