Gym Workout Log Book for Android
Has all the features and flexibility I need. At time I find it difficult to navigate. It doesn't always seem intuitive. But on the plus side when I asked for the support team responded quickly and helpfully. I'm satisfied.
I'm evaluating gym log apps, but there are a few basic requirements I have, and one is Google Fit connectivity. This doesn't have it, so I'm moving on.
Where does it go when I share on Facebook? My Facebook page or yours?
I came to the gym and found my routine exercises are gone after yesterday's update. If this cannot be rectified please refund my purchase a more stable app. I had 4 week routine. Thanks
Give me my data back. Now. Or refund my money.
But is difficult to navigate
Great
Works ok but I can't update and save workout data as I increase weight. I'm using the paid version. It always reverts to the original data whenever I reopen the routine. Very frustrating. If there is a way to save updates on the fly it certainly is not intuitive. Other than that it works fine but what's the point of an exercise app that won't save workout data as you grow?
Brilliant app for logging your gym progress. Only two issues I have with it. When stating which days your workouts relate to you should be able to set it to an actual date rather than a day. As I do 2 days on 1 day off in the gym my workouts don't always fall on the same day. The second leads on from this; I would like it so you could plan your workouts in advance say a month at a time by putting this in a calendar and then being alerted on the morning of the workout or a time of your choosing.
Moved from a long time app and it took me a little while to get used to it but now that I have it I like all of the features.
Amazing app that have everything in it. Training, body measurements, Body fat, Cardio log and more.. The best to have all in one fitness log ! Also very simple to understand and configure for limitless options and data combinations ! The only missing feature is the google fit integration that will sync all of my exercises to google fit app. Would be great to have this feature.
Limiting the number of workouts thay I put in a routine? It's my routine don't limit my stuff
Does exactly what it should with tons of features to customize to your workout. Highly recommended as long as you have a workout in mind as it has a basic workout for a template.
Best app available and very complete!
Good for body by science workouts
It takes some considerable brain twisting to work out what the developers were thinking when they set the app up. The workflow is a complete mess. To add a new exercise to an existing routine while you're going through it takes way too long and doesn't seem to work half the time. Switching devices is a nightmare. You sync from one device to Dropbox but then the new device just shrugs: "The operation could not be performed" when you try to restore that data to it. No clue as to where to start looking. Lazy noob programming. I would dump it and try something else but I've paid for the pro upgrade so I feel kind of compelled to get my money's worth.
Gymframe
After trying a lot of similar apps, this one is the best android app I've found for keeping track of your workouts. However, there are a couple annoying issues. First off, is there any way to have it so that when the countdown timer reaches zero it uses your phone's vibrate feature instead of the ring tone? It blasts my ringtone through my phone's speaker (even if I'm using headphones) after each set and that hardly seems like good gym etiquette. My other complaint is that the synchronize feature doesn't se
Still learning but so far quite promising :)
Maybe pro Ver is more intuitive
What's the difference between this and the other products from the Dev, such as FitFrame? Also, is there a way to set up a training plan in advance (mix of activities) and see it in a calendar view and mark as completed as time progresses? App looks promising!
App seemed to get enough things right that I quickly bought the full version. Has plenty of illustrated exercises, is designed for fast log entry and stat tracking, tracks personal bests with trophies, and seems to support notifications and workout schedules. One quick suggestion to the dev: use a prettier theme for the screenshots! I passed on this app multiple times until I had tried like 30 other apps. The gray theme is decent.
Best Training App
Gymframe
Would like to see the notification tone play through my headset. Doesn't make sense to play through external speaker while headphones are plugged in. The voice alert does it just fine but it's a little annoying... Thanks!
It's taking me some time to get the hang of it but it beats buying a book for 25 bucks that I have to lug around the gym. Good job developer.
Usefull. Could be improved.
I just started working out again and found this application it really helped me to keep track of everything. Definitely worth a buy in my opinion.
Great, still needs further development.
Terrible
Not sure what's the differences between this app and FitFrame. Took me quite a time to figure out. Since the in-app purchase of this app is pretty much the same as FitFrame, why should I purchase this one... Got confused again...
This app seemed a little quirky at first but once you get used to how it works, it's great. I've tried all of them for Android and this one is worth the buy. I understand there are some cool improvements coming soon including a calendar and some useful tools. If you like keeping track of your fitness, this is a serious contender...
If you already have a routine and just want to record it that's not what this is. This is a program rather than a tool to let you track what you want to do.
Some rather simple features require additional navigation and study, but good overall and serves the purpose perfectly.
I'd like to see a calendar feature or some easy way for me to look back to see when I did what.
I'm pretty happy with this tool over all. Quirky, but reliable. Does what it says and a little more.

Great
Overall, a great application. Really contains a lot of information and helps a lot with gym activities.

So far so good. Very flexible considering I am able to change the names of exercises and add more freely. Hoping to see an update that adds a photo option to body measurements. A macro section would be fantastic but I won't be disappointed if you never make one (I'm asking for too much). I'll try to leave a new review in a few weeks after I get used to it.
