Digital Etüt uygulaması, üç ayrı panel olarak kullanıcılara sunulur. Öğretmenler, öğrenciler ve yöneticiler programa farklı panellerden giriş yapar. Öğrenci çözüm yolunu veya doğru cevabını bilemediği soruyu, akıllı telefonu vasıtası ile fotoğraf veya metin formatında uygulamaya gönderir. Öğrenciler tarafından gönderilen sorular havuzda toplanır ve branşın sorumlusu olan öğretmenlerin ekranlarına düşer. Öğretmenler cevaplamak istedikleri soruları rezerve ederek havuzdan alırlar. İsterlerse gönderilen fotoğraf üzerinde, isterlerse başka bir sayfada çözerek, yine fotoğraf veya metin formatında tekrar sisteme gönderirler. Sorulan soru ve verilen cevap sadece muhatabı olan öğrenci ve öğretmen tarafından görülür. Ancak soru tüm öğrenciler için güzel bir örnek teşkil ediyorsa cevaplayan öğretmen tarafından 'Nitelikli Soru' olarak işaretlenir ve böylece tüm öğrencilerin görebilmesi sağlanır.
