Life Counter

Most counter apps are the jack of all trades but a master of none. This sets out to be a clean counter that is simple to use and it nails it. We used a pad of paper for 20+ years of MTG and this app has now become the mainstay even over the one my friends company creates.

Not only is this a great app, but it's also one of the only life counter apps that doesn't have ridiculous app permissions.

only thing I'd like to see added is the ability to add your own background image.

I wish you could update it so you can play nemesis or two headed giants

Simple and sweet. Minimalist. No long menus, no setting up, no ads, open source. Exactly what I wanted and nothing more.

It's a very useful life counter. Can be uses for multiple different games. The only thing I think they should fix is to add the line under the 6 and the 9. So you can tell the difference between the two when the flip counter option is on.

Wonderful to see a counter app without ads. Works great for dice masters!

I don't play Magic anymore, but I am a big fan of the deck-building card game Star Realms (if you haven't tried it, you need to). I like this app because it doesn't force me to use Magic branding or a fantasy theme yet it's easy to read and still looks nice. You can change the default starting life (Star Realms starts at 50) so resetting the game is quick. It's also relatively easy on the battery life. For purely Magic players, there are more complete apps but I don't want those extra features. Now if only they'd add some sci-fi backgrounds.

It's got a beautiful elegant style, it's simple and let's you flip half the counter. Exactly what I wanted.

I love it because I play future card buddyfight its very useful. ☺☺☺☺

Pros: Minimalist design (most others insist on having hideous graphics), supports poison counters, keeps screen awake, and most importantly doesn't require any permissions. Cons: Doesn't support more than 2 players.

It is simple so you dont get distracted from the game, but at the same time complete in a way it have all the functions you need in a very organized way. Recommended.

Great for MtG and other games. No ads either to get in the way of the beautifully simplistic UI. Things that would make it even better are a coin flip, and the possibility of setting custom backgrounds with our own images. Some games also use life points in the hundreds or thousands range like Force of Will, so having that option to add and subtract in those denominations would be also great.

It does what it needs to do...well! Could there be an option to have the numbers and backround slowly shift around to avoid burn in on LED devices... Probably not an issue but just in case :D

This app does exactly what you'd expect it to do, and nothing more. No card management systems, no dice simulators, and no unnecessary bells and whistles. My absolute favorite part? There aren't any advertisements *or* in-app purchases! The interface is elegant and intuitive, and the background options are understated and attractive (unlike many of the gaudier apps out there). My one complaint is that this app doesn't yet support a four-player mode, but I'm sure that will be added with future updates. With this one addition, my four-star review would become a perfect score!

Very elegant, perfectly does the job. It would be perfect if we could have up to 4 lives area instead of two (or maybe more than 4 ? :D)!

Love that its to easy use, does what it says and can do a few things to customize it. Poison counters optional which I needed! Flip thingy kind of awesome too :)

Wish it could be used for multiplayer

This is it ! Trust the dev, this is the best life counter I could find on the store. I just miss a flip coin and more players. The animation on +/-5 is great, the flip UI is awesome and useful, backgrounds are beautiful! No permissions and 1MB. Don't look for another app !
