The Zone @ 91-3

The most recent version of the app has a bug where if you switch to other tasks and go back you cannot stop play. You have to force quit the app to make it stop playing. How is there not a manual stop or menu in an app like this? Terrible user experience.

Love the Zone!

Most of the time, I've loved this app. But since the most recent update I cannot listen for any length of time, or do anything else with my phone and listen to the app. As soon as my phone goes to sleep or switches to another app, the zone shuts off - and I want to keep listening! Never had this problem before... Not sure what happened but fix it up!

I use the app to listen to The Zone on either side of sleeping. The previous app (14 oranges version) had a sleep feature which would let me set it to play The Zone for up to an hour as i feel asleep. Missing that feature in this latest incarnation (Futuri Media version). Also, the alarm feature in the latest version is weird. It plays an old school alarm clock bell, then a rooster, then a dude telling me to wake up, then The Zone starts playing. I just want the morning zone to start up at the time I set.

Great app for listening to the zone on the mainland where reception can be spotty. I mainly use it for mobile streaming and haven't checked out a lot of the features. My only real issue with the app is that it crashes every time I get a call (Nexus 6).

Works most of the time but can get glitchy and won't let me close it or it shuts off by itself. Even so, I use it a lot and like that I can listen to the Zone anywhere.

Does what it should. Shows whats playing, has a Twitter feed. What more do you need?

Please fix the ability to close the app. I have to force quit through the settings menu to close it. Otherwise great!

The app itself works well for listening...However, the recent update seemingly requires users to 'force-quit' (in settings menu) in order to close. The app now takes up a spot in my notification tray when I don't want it there. I often want to be able to swipe it away but am not allowed. I see this as invasive and will be less likely to open the app in the first place as a result. Please let me quit or at least remove the notification bar when I want to! Thanks! (12/2/2015) Again, really enjoy being able to listen to the Zone during workouts and on the go. However, the new play-advertisement-on-connect function is a problem. When i'm moving around with my phone, it often temporarily disconnects from WiFi. This means that I often hear the connect-ad repeatedly - I don't mind hearing it when I actually connect but 20 times during my workout is not a good time! Please, please fix! Thanks! (4/6/2016)

Much easier that trying to get to the webpage and starting the stream as I used too.

My favourite station when I lived in Seattle, glad I can still listen to it when I lived in Orlando and now Houston.

always the best music, up-to-date and good working app except for some short stops.;) the zone itself is amazing!

Zone on the go... it works when I can't receive the OTA signal, and it shows me what song is currently playing!

I moved from Sooke to Medicine Hat, Alberta. Having this app on my phone and being able to still listen to my favourite radio station while I work is wonderful. Works nearly seamlessly. Like having a little bit of my old home with me here in the prairies.

Now I can zone on my phone!

The Zone is the best! Listen to it where ever I am. Whoever does the playlist are very good at their job. Love the fact I can pull it up on this app anytime with no technical issues.

Great station, some blips here and there, sometimes the streaming delay went up to 5 minutes... great music!

The app works well with playing the station but occasionally it will stop itself. It's also rather difficult to close.

So happy I can listen to my favourite hometown radio station in Manitoba.

I love that it gives me access to my favorite radio station but hate that I have to force stop it on my Android device.

Any app that plays my victoria royals is alright by me.

You can never close the app. Even if you terminate it it will just restart. This freaks me out and makes me worry about data usage.
