About Lotus Convention Centre (LCC)

The Lotus Convention Centre (LCC) is a State-of-the-art Multipurpose Convention Centre located on T.C. Palya main road, Bangalore and in close proximity to Ramamurthy Nagar, Krishnarajapuram,Banaswadi, and the surrounding IT hub in between Hebbal & Whitefield. The Lotus Convention Centre has been developed by the Aakula Family under the banner of the Lotus Group and is one of the most beautiful structures built in recent times. The co-founders, Mr. Suresh Reddy & Mr. Ramesh Reddy have left no stone unturned to make it a magnificent convention centre in the vicinity. Designed by the multi-disciplinary Ra360 Architects, the Lotus Convention Centre is designed like the flying wings of a bird about to take flight and has already become one of the iconic landmarks in Bangalore. As one enters the imposing entrance gateway and walks to the glass porch, a vertical garden greets the guests at the entrance to the Courtyard. The Lotus Convention Centre is designed in such a manner that a skylit courtyard with water fountains at the centre of a lotus kalyani greets the guests at the entrance. On either side of the beautifully designed courtyard are the Main Multifunctional Hall on one side and the Dining Hall on the other side. An array of Brass Bells and Diya’s separate the Courtyard from the Halls, but visually linking the enter space from one end to another. On the first floor above the Courtyard are located many seating lounges, 13 Suites including the Master Suites for the Bride and the Groom . This ambiance facilitates the interaction of both the families during a wedding celebration and they all can view down to the courtyard where pre-wedding functions and related rituals can take place around the Lotus pond Kalyani below.

The Main Hall has a very wide stage (20’ x 66’) and two green rooms with modern facilities flank it on either sides. There are long circular columns capped with beautifully laser cut brushed steel LED lit lotus buds that is the signature feature in the Lotus Convention Centre. Also there is a dedicated Band stand for the musicians which is also one of the unique features. From the first floor lotus shaped balcony, there is a breathtaking view of the hall and it appears like a hall of a million lotuses because the mirrored glass of the curtain walls on either side that reflect the lotus columns and chandeliers infinite times. The false ceiling has 9’ long chandeliers with mehandi design type of lighting that add joy to the occasion.

The Dining hall can accommodate upto 200 tables with over 600 chairs. Attached to the dining hall is a state of the art Internal Kitchen, Pantry and preparation areas and it is supported by an external Anxillary Kitchen. The highlight of the dining hall is a breathtaking Asia’s largest impressionist painting hand painted by Ra360 Architects as a tribute to the Impressionist Artist Claude Monet.

The Lotus Convention Centre has a exquisite Sri. Ganapathi Temple as well has adequate open car parks as well as car park in the basement areas. One has to see the LCC to appreciate one of the most beautiful structures in Modern times. Kudos to the Lotus Group!
