The bracelet does not track what you're actually doing,if you are walking on a treadmill,it does that keep up with your actual steps that you take, sometimes it will lose track of all your steps that did you throughout the day. Tracking your sleep seems to work well. The need for other fitness events to track and capability with other apps would enhance the program

Q70%
by Q####:

The fossil Q is basic, but generally shows the information I want. Since an update this morning. It has been way off on calibration. After I had walked a known distance of 2.6 miles, which would normally put me at about 5000 steps it had only recorded 2300 steps and .9 miles. I have since walked more than a mile more and it has only logged 4000 steps in total for the day.

I do not know if it is the app or the watch but only works half the time I have had it. Have spent hours trying to reconnect the watch to the phone and support from the company is no support at all. Pretty much tell you sorry our product sucks but you bought it and we don't care if it works correctly. Update. 7/6/17. App and new watch were working great until fossil updated the app. Then lost 2 days of data which the app stated would not be lost and had to go through steps to repair watch. Fossil is such a pain!!!!!!

My device loses connection at least once daily. Only recorded sleep on the first night and none since. It's beautiful, but so far not very effective for recording data. The help systems are really no help at all. It is beautiful though!

The watch loses connection to the phone at least once per day, usually more than once. It then as you to confirm that the numbers on the watch and phone match. It will constantly send that request, causing your phone to ring until you either confirm the numbers or turn off Bluetooth.

I really enjoy my watch. The only issue I've been having is with the Bluetooth connectivity. The watch frequently disconnects from my phone and oftentimes doesn't even show up in the list of available devices to be paired. My phone doesn't have the watch listed as a paired device even though they've been connected before.

Device broke after 4 months. Trying to get some help has been nothing but conflicting information, suggestions to buy new batteries and the same email copy and pasted to tell me to uninstall and reinstall the app

I loved everything about my watch until today

Had to return my watch after 6 months because it stopped syncing. Fossil gave me a new watch but I've kind of lost interest now. I am a die hard Fossil watch person though. I wonder if I could this in for the new hybrid?

Q70%
by Q####:

I've had the watch for about a week and I've experienced some connection issues. I don't know if it's my phone or the watch but I had much higher expectations for the hybrid. I also wish there was an option to sync steps with the Samsung health app. Probably would've just gotten a normal watch if I had known what little functionality this watch has.

Q70%
by Q####:

The app is missing some very basic features. There is no automatic or scheduled syncing for devices, nor will it backfill data to connected apps. It doesn't even have a widget for quick comparison. It's especially a shame because the fossil watches themselves are so gorgeous. Like finding a cute girl or guy on the street, only to find they have a kindergarten education...

I like this watch, the look of it, the size. I had no idea hybrid smartwatches existed until reading the reviews when looking into a watch. I love that it looks like a normal watch but will track my steps and sleep. The only thing that bugs me about it is that I am not sure what the top half of the small face is for and I haven't been able to figure it out. Functionality wise tho, so far I'm loving it!

Q70%
by Q####:

The connection between phone and watch is great. I now actually answer calls when my phone is on silent. Steps and sleep tracking works well. And customisation of the buttons is great. Only issue is when my phone is connected to other devices with music controls, it blocks the control from other devices. Headphones as an example. Otherwise, love my phone and the way my watch and this app interacts.

Team please do something for frequently app crash.. Having all the features and brand I have chosen fossil. Don't dishearten . I am using Vivo V5 Plus and the app installed in my phone always crashes First the app went well as i did changes on feature for the push button function from app the app started crashing. Now not able to open the app..

Q70%

Bottom line is that it doesnt even communicate with the apps that it says it does. Spend a little more money and get something that actually works. It sucks because I like the way it looks.

I'm a little disappointed it doesn't work continuously. In purchased this product as a trial for a fitbit and ik definitely be buying one now. I know they work continuously and wortht he price. I love the idea of this tracker and enjoy the comfortability and style but have had problems since I purchased it.

I got a Q Wander, it connected to Android Wear app successfully but never paired with Fossil Q app...it asks me to download Android Wear app every time I open Fossil Q or ask me to buy a device....I don't know what happened...but seems I can't track my steps or sleeping data through this app. What a disappointed.

The watch constantly loses its connection to my phone. It's become such a pain to try to reconnect it that i basically stopped using it. My main purpose was to have an alarm that reminded me to take my blood pressure medicine and this function is hopelessly unreliable. Nice looking watch but the applications simply don't work in this product never should have come to Market.

Q70%
by Q####:

The app is required to set the time on my Grant watch. Unfortunately the app is unable to update the firmware on my watch and consistently fails. It's such a great looking watch but the ability to actually use it is compromised by the lack of a functional app. Seriously considering returning the watch if this is what it's like out of the box.

Pretty worthless. Gf has a fossil q tailor and won't connect after the second day. And even after deleting app it won't connect. Took it back got a new watch, and does the same thing. Even after taking the battery out. Tried on pixel and moto z play. Basically turning a 150 dollar watch into a 25 dollar watch. And the customer service emails are taking their sweet time.

It looks great but notification vibrate does not always work. Vibration is too weak and does not last long enough. I need text notification on watch but it is not reliable. Hope it doesn't just become an expensive watch. Online help is poor.

Q70%
by Q####:

Calibration doesn't work and synchronization doesn't work. Because of this, the time is never displayed correctly and I cannot use any of the features of the watch. The app also "disconnects" from the watch several times within an hour. I also get repeated "oops" and error messages if I try to use any of the apps features. I don't know if this is the fault of the app or the watch itself(or a mix of both), but I just bought the device, brand new, and I haven't even owned it for 48 hours.

I just got the Q Hybrid model to pair with my Galaxy S7 and no notifications come through with a vibration or by going to the assigned number. Very dissappointed!

Q70%
by Q####:

Sometimes doesn't send notifications and the fossil q app says that my q Marshall watch isn't connected all the time even when it is in android wear. This makes the sleep tracker and all other q app features obsolete as they don't know the watch is connected

P70%
by P####:

The options for "vibration strength" (under "device settings") are "light", "medium", and "strong", but sometimes I need to disable vibration entirely. If an "off" option is added I'll change my rating to a 5. Edit: I was able to remove the vibration by taking out the battery and prying out the vibration motor. This voided the warranty, but my watch is silent now. Five stars.

Q70%
by Q####:

It's ok when it actually connected. But it keeps disconnecting on its own. It is a real pain having to uninstall and reinstall the app in order to connect again.

Does not pair, Fossil Hybrid watch keeps rejecting connection. Error "watch rejected Bluetooth connection". Samasung S7 , latest OS supplied by Att.

Over all it's a good app. Has a few things that I don't use. However since the last update the find your phone option isn't working. Hopefully it will be fixed with the next up date.

I have not had any issues with my watch. It records my steps and sleep accurately. Also, no problems of syncing, or anything else. I am not kind to my watches and this has survived quite a beating, a little scratched but surprisingly tough. The reason for a 3 and not a 4 star is the battery life, I had to replace the battery and only had it a month or so. Although, I do have the tracker on, the alarms on, the device locater on, the notification on for 5 contacts....and the locator for the watch on....so probably lasted long enough but...... ;)

Q70%
by Q####:

The app doesn't stay connected. All of my alerts disappeared, and none of my info is syncing. It took three days to sync to the correct time zone when I traveled last week.

N70%
by N####:

The device does not work. Tracked 567 steps today while my Fitbit tracked 5689 steps. I get no alerts when my set-up contacts text or call me - though my Fitbit now buzzes when my phone rings!! I set a daily alarm and it worked 1 day only. Maybe the issue is that the light flashes pink - with new batteries. Actually, now it won't even flash with tapping.

Q70%
by Q####:

Works great for me! I haven't had any of the connection issues or other problems people have mentioned. I like the interface and design of this app. Wish it had a few more functions like a graph of steps over time, and a silent alarm.

Q70%
by Q####:

Brilliant functionality and previous connectivity issues have largely been solved. Sometimes requests for the team: The ability to assign one of the physical buttons to call a specific contact. Remove the maximum amount of apps you can get notifications from. I can think of a few apps that I would be more than happy to assign to the same number for notifications. Keep it up guys! Edit: For people having connectivity issues or issues with missed notifications, try turning off Bluetooth then clear all data including cache of your Bluetooth system app. Turn Bluetooth back on and connect to the watch. This solved my issues.

X70%

The fossil q watch is pointless as a smart watch and you will spend more time trying to reconnect it to your device than getting any other use out of it. I am sick of resetting the whole device and reconnecting to bluetooth every morning because I took my watch off and walked away letting it disconnect UPDATE: your advice is to never let it disconnect from my phone! how is that any use, what if I have to restart my phone? what if I take the watch off and walk away from range, like when it is charging? this reply from you proves just how god awful your range of smart watches is.

Q70%
by Q####:

Would love to enable notifications from exclusive contacts in apps such as Whatsapp. Would love to have the possibility of starting bike activity from the buttons of the watch, not only steps. To have the possibility of opening Strava, for example.

I have tried multitude of different processes to connect the Q54 pilot to the phone. None seems to be working. The instructions provided at connection onboarding do not correspond to how the watch is behaving. I am not sure which mode is my watch currently is (Shipment? Recovery? Or some other random mode). Why would you make such a complex process for a simple connection. Disappointed. Highly!

Z70%
by Z####:

It's not really user friendly. Getting it ,connected took more than one time to work. Wish it would have the ability to see the time and an option to refresh stats.

Q70%
by Q####:

I'm disappointed that my notifications are unpredictable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. (Pipe dream) Would be awesome if it could work with both my personal (Android) and work (iPhone) both like my Pebble did.

Q70%
by Q####:

App is OK but not very intuitive/user friendly. The activity tracking is confusing as it will show different things on the watch vs the app despite being synced (e.g. The app is showing I'm at about 20% of my daily step goal which should equate to about 2 o'clock on the watch but the activity button on the watch marks 1 o'clock). Also had an issue when I first set it up that it lost connection to the watch every 10 seconds despite being literally next to each other.

Q70%
by Q####:

I didn't work/connect to the watch for almost a week after the last update. Most of the time it doesn't work. Sleep time is often not accurate. I liked it and it worked better the first week after I purchased the watch on June 12.
