Foscam NVR

connects and views cameras but Search and playback does not work. It shows all of the alarms in the timeline but will only play video for the first alarm, no matter which is selected. I need to be able to access my foscam 3104 NVR from my android tablet and review alarm video. Also need to be able to enable/disable motion detection and adjust the schedules. right now this app will not do that. I see from other reviews that is has been broken since 2006. Not Good.

Useless. Takes ages to load the image but mostly doesn't load at all and gives the message: "exceeds user authority". I was better off with my individual cameras and third party viewer.

Now works well with my 4 Foscams EXCEPT video playback from my 1080p FI9909P cam plays in slow motion making it useless for checking video recorded as result of motion detection. Please fix this.

This app is awful. Will not connect for remote playback on phones, tablets, etc. Not my internet connection, the a competing camera system works flawlessly as does several other remote operations of my business. Foscam sucks and you get what you pay for.

Makes no sense that if I want to connect to a NVR on my isolated LAN this app forces me to register and login on foscam website. It's fishy and looks like it will be sending my recordings somewhere without my permission. No way I'm allowing that. Please remove the stupid mandatory login and I'll review it again.

Not managed to get it to work across a WAN yet as cannot find where to set the DDNS address. Hopefully their support will help sort this out.

Works very well on LAN but not sure if you can access the app from the intrenet via mobile networks

The app works well some others have been unable to get the option to use it outside of your home network in the local tab there is an option that says WiFi only that needs to be turned off. Also the app does not seem to have the option to detect if you are on your home network and use a local ip instead which seems to be a big shortfall.

The app does not work with the original Foscam cameras. I was told that there may be an update in the future which fixes this, but after 6 weeks, it still doesn't work.

App was working fine until a few weeks ago. Now I can't view over LTE only on local wifi. Need to get phone app working or will have to remove multiple cams from many locations.

Channel names don't appear with the actual names my cameras have. This IS REALLY ANNOYING!

Expected more - have used other nvr apps remotely via phone and tablet - this only seams to work if you have wifi ... come on guys get with the times ... most disappointing, great cameras :/

Can't search through playback. Keeps jumping back to 00:00. Useless.

Doesn't support it own cameras FI8910W

App rarely works on GS7 unless I am on the LAN with the DVR. Wifes iphone works fine.

Update: is been months. Still waiting for the update to allow two way voice. Also any update that makes using the playback feature better wound be appreciated. Other than that it works.

Non HD camera don't work with app. Plays fine on NVR with browser. App is broken.

Can open all the connected cams, easy to use... playback functionality not working.. not able to use the timeline

Complete waste of time. Wanted to use this for camera playback. Doesn't allow you to do that at all in landscape mode - which is all you get on an android tv box. It doesn't work very well on a phone either. Come on Foscam you could do better than this.

(Just downloaded latest update. Still doesn't work properly. Search and playback does not work. Just plays first clip. HOPELESS!) I have a Foscam NVR. This app connects OK I can view my connected cams but searching for alarm recordings simply does not work properly. It plays back the first clip continually. It shows a "bar graph" of recordings made but that does nothing. No point in buying a Foscam NVR if the app does NOT work! Rip off.

So far so good. Just needs to be updated to match it's other company..Amcrest...needs more security and better options. Seems dumbed down for people who don't understand tech.

Prior ver. 1.1.0 worked but lacked playback/record. But: did not crash. The upgrade ver this. 1.2.0 will not work on any Android or BlackBerry for now. The upgrade version has playback record but will only close crash when you add your NVR. Please Fix

The latest update has caused the app to quit working altogether. It was great before that.

The app is almost as important as the hardware. The app is consistently not working. Consistent "Logon Failure" error when trying to view live feed. Foscam needs to fix this app.

I was very disappointed with how this works with the FH3104H. That combined with the web (!) app only working on windows makes the whole experience very poor. I can rarely see live video and not once has recorded video worked.

Added NVR fine. Crashed when trying to open/play NVR.

Plain and simple this app doesn't work

keeps crashing and used up all my data in the background. for goodness sake... make a better working app for so much money paid into foscam.

Works ok with my NVR. I am not keeping it because, either due to laziness or some nefarious reasons, the app wants permissions it doesnt need or shouldn't use.

Version 1.1.2 works fine with FN3109H NVR. Latest version 1.2.1 only works with H264 cameras and doesn't show MJPEG cameras. Uninstalled and reinstalled 1.1.2.

Would prefer more functions but it still work great.
