Hopefully a tickets on the way. I'm disabled (have over 120 debilitating diagnoses, on oxygen, cane or personal scooter-depends on how bad the day is). I have relatives that use others placards, an ex-husband who uses his girlfriends (who only has diabetes type 1) that all pissed me off! Those of us that really need those spaces can't get them because filled up with people that don't need them. Who needs because of diabetes only??? I wish that was the only thing wrong with me! Or because getting SSI due to mentally handicapped (faked by the way - attends college, works 3 jobs all under the table, etc). Just tired of people using the system so they don't have to work. I worked until I couldn't go to office anymore, then worked at home until couldn't get that done either. I would love ❤ to have a life again and be able to work, go shopping instead of hubby having to do it all. Or even be able to drive again (hubby retired early to take care of the things that I could no longer do. Just would love ❤ my life back! Sorry to vent….

I believe this app is meant to report drivers who park in disabled spots who aren't disabled in ANY way. Period.

I had encountered a violator and taken a photo, I found this app later and I wanted to upload the photo I took, about 2o mins prior, I couldnt! So how does that help? IT DOESN'T and the violator will go on and keep violating

I have degenerative disc disease, I have nerve damage & spine stimulator .Ihave arthritis in my R hip. I dont need a wheelchair or require cane, yes by the time I'm done shopping I'm in pain and I am limping back to my car. You have no right to say what is considered a need for a handicapped place hanger. I'm holding off on the license plate pic b/c I have many ppl who drive me around. no I can't drive. So Backer down hot rod. You shouldn't judge those with HCP, but crack down on ppl who don't have any.

Saw a car last night that was parked illegally in a handicapped spot. I want instant gratification but nothing happened. My submission is still being "approved". What's the point of this app if nothing happens to bust illegal parkers.

App doesn't use your gallery so if you don't embarrass yourself for the pics you can't submit a violation. THEN they refuse most violations don't waste your time app is poorly executed and the founder should be embarrassed. STAY AWAY.

Doesn't do what it says. Tried several times to take pictures of licence plates, but the app hijacks camera settings... Just call the police. It is faster and way more efficient.

make sure your GPS is on before you open the application. take the photos that it ask for. takes some time for the pending approval to go to government engagement.. never have had a problem. I just wonder if it actually does anything? I'm to use a cane but half the time I don't feel the need. I only use my blue tag for a handicapped spot when I need. Most the time I walk. but I find it asinine for people to park there that don't need to be. Fat ppl could walk leave spots for elderly or ppl who can't walk

Some suggestions: allow picking pictures from the gallery. Don't require all photos, sometimes don't have time to take 3 pictures, especially when 1 pic will tell the whole story. However this is fantastic app with a lot of potential.

No ability to upload images from gallery. Uninstalling due to this basic oversight of the developers and this should've been fixed in the first patch.

Made me jump through all the hoops to make and verify an account before telling me my city wasn't supported.

I'm beat up like most of this people on here but I don't call the whinnbulance. I walk like everyone else that doesn't want to gain weight and look super ridiculous. Mind over matter you lazy people. My neighbor claims to be handicap BUT she carries a lot of weight and is pretty capable SO can't BS me.

What about all these ppl who do not recognize DV (Disabled Vet) plates. I'm a 100% service-connected Vet that doesn't look disabled, yet I've had over 50 surgeries. There are days I can't even walk, yet I get ugly looks, & cussed out. I have no reason to explain to anyone!! I've even argued w/cops who've cited me, making me now go dwntwn, thru all that inconvenience to get it dropped. If you see "DV" plates, leave em alone! The bigger question, how do we catch these ppl using grandma's placard?

Can you please add the option to upload pictures from your gallery? I took pictures the other day, about to report the person, but then I found out I had to take the pictures with the app. By the time I was out of the store, the person was already gone.

Reply To Gilbert Gonzeles, A disabled veteran tag does not give you placard parking rights in any state. You must first take your Doctors note to the Vehicle Registration location and have it added to your DV tag and you will get a Blue Wheel Chair next to your tag number which then gives you rights to park there. There are many 100% Disabled Veterans who do not qualify for a disabled spot and yes they deserve a ticket just as you did if yours did not have that addition. You were very lucky if you actually won that in court as more than likely the police or whoever wrote the ticket did not show up so the ticket was dismissed. I am 100% Disabled too and trust me I understand the confusion but it is illegal without the wheelchair on your tag. Here is one thing for all disabled folks who park in handicapped spots most who have the placard do not even qualify either but it is tolerated. The rules are this if you get out of your vehicle and you do not either have a cane or a wheel chair prescribed to you and you walk in a store you are breaking the law. I have many say I have a bad heart, COPD or what ever excuse you may have, are wrong.

As others said this app is virtually useless because of the lack of an ability to upload pictures from the gallery. Sadly I did not realize this until I had already taken the photos of a violator and returned home to upload them. After failing to submit a report through the app I decided to try again through the website but apparently you can only do so via the app.

Its a waste of time. Most are refused. I give up and I am uninstalling. I won't waste any more of my valuable time if Parking Spot doesn't want to do their job.

Really well-thought-out app. Responsive developers and organization. Solid concept, careful planning.

Anyone know if it works in the uk. Does any tickets get issued, or am I just risking getting caught by angry motorist??

No single sign on, no option to use existing photos. I'm not going to stay there and take pictures while owner is about to come, rather take pictures and report later

I especially love when they catch me taking pictures, and I tell them tickets in the mail.

Great easy to use interface, I like how you can even use the GPS to narrow down and even shows the satellite image so you can exactly locate where the violation occurred. My only minor issue is that it doesn't allow you to select pictures from your gallery; you can only take pictures when the app is open. This can cause problems because it creates a delay in taking pictures. What if the offender shows up, it gets awkward explaining why I'm taking pictures.

If it had more options for reports such as unauthorized use of a placard, etc., it would be easier to select the type of violation. Especially if you know the person is in direct violation of the placard.. Other than that its great. Way better from the last update.

Just kept getting a "missing photos" error everytime I tried to complete it. Took all photos multiple times. Bummer.

This should advance and allow all illegal parking to be reported and not just handicap parking. Working for property management, to get an enforcement officer out to ticket a vehicle can take hours by which the car has moved and wastes everyone's time. Something to consider

Great concept. I was put off by not being able to use gallery pics. But now I understand why.

I so wish this app worked and worked well everywhere. Im in UK and can't get it to work. Keeps crashing and freezing just as you try submit. And keeps finding faults with location (probably because ot doesn't work in the UK ???) please please sort this app out. Its a fab idea, just a shame ot doesn't work. :-(

I hope to see more use of it. I also hope the violators really are being ticketed. Is there a way we could know for sure?

but it would be awesome to attach photos to be submitted instead of having to take the pictures as required. good start though to busting these lazy assclowns
