Now, you can sync from any screen within the app! As long as the app is open on your Bluetooth-enabled phone, you can manually prompt your Trio® to sync.
Enjoy the updated design, new FIT-goal progress displays, and overall improved navigation.

Won't sync, even though it's supposedly compatible with my device. I've tried the mac version but just discovered it doesn't work with the most current system, Sierra. Now I have 9 days of data and no backup. Going to lose ALL the effort I've put into this.

Got the device from my insurance company...the app won't sync to the device. I was advised to download the program in my computer but I never use my PC so no thanks. Worst app ever. I made sure bluetooth doesn't find anyrhing else as that causes problems but still no sync.

I have tried multiple times to sync with no success. It always says that the sync was completed, refreshes the screen but nothing has changed.

If Fortify would solve the sync and update issues with the app it would be great. I can get over auto synch being hit and miss. But where I struggle is feeling like the app is broken all the time because the UI may take 3-5 minutes to update after it "successfully" syncs. Also the app doesn't work if there is no internet connection. As such the app was useless all weekend while they were updating the servers or whatever they were doing. Once it was back up and after a few tries all my data was uploaded - yay!. But again, the app feels broken. Android is capable of storing local data and synching to server in the background. This would seem like a better solution. Maybe they can't because of HIPAA concerns or whatever, but the way it functions today brings the app down. At this point, if I didn't have to use this app, I wouldn't.

Does not sync with device (sync either times out or fails), app is slow, drains battery, and takes up to much device memory since you can't transfer to an SD card.

Keeps telling me my email address is invalid and i can't even sign up, very frustrating? The motion sensor is absolutely worthless if I can't even sign in

Doesn't sync by itself. If you have to have your Bluetooth turned on, I believe it should sync automatic.

The app don't sync properly to the device I have to constantly refresh and re-sync and has many bugs. Just fix it

I wish I could give these desk job fools a fake email because you will receive the following harassment emails on a regular basis: low battery on pedometer, why arent you syncing?, there are recent changes to your activity (so fill out a damn survey). At the end of the day, these motion trio employees need to walk more often themselves because when you are working behind a desk harassing others, you are content with being lazy. Get your a** off your chair and walk 18k steps a day like me.

I live the idea. Wish it would auto sync on my Samsung like it promises on ios. The app is slow to catch up with new data after the sync which is frustrating.

I've been amazed how this program has grabbed me and my wife. We did a little digging, and there's a lot of science behind the benefits of just walking...the money we earn is a bonus. She swears it's helping her lose weight, and we compete like a couple kids. It's fun and healthy and the money helps.

Thanks to my Trio, I'm able to track my steps, set and hit daily goals for myself. I had no idea that I walk over 8 miles at work everyday. I am moving more and continuing to be more active thanks to my tracker. Overall great product. I'm also able to sync with the app with ease. Great app.

I had password Issues. It would tell me to use numbers, or I didn't have a uppercase letter and I did. Come to find out you must use a special character also if you want the password to work. After I did that I had no issues

After a few days of trying to sync to my phone, the Trio device just can't connect. Given a "fail" message whenever I try to get the code. I just wanted the discount for my insurance! :(

I've become addicted to my Trio...put it on first thing in the morning, and I'm always thinking of where I stand with my goals. I'm much more active than I used to be, and i like it. It's like a mini personal trainer on my belt.

Waste of time, that's what I said before. Now I know that the pass word has to have a cap, a special character and a number it worked out. After the e-mail address didn't have a space behind making it invalid. Now since the motion update syncing is easy, no not auto but now the date and time is right long as the app doesn't shut down while sync is in progress it is good. Oh sync push the button until it goes to sync then hold the button until blue tooth symbol shows and voila. Sync until it is right

I've been using my tracker every day and it's a great way to push myself past what I otherwise would have done. I feel healthier and I'm earning money while doing it!

Two stars because i cant even get passed the sign up page!! I'm trying to sign up,got all the way to make a password. It won't let me just keeps saying I need at least 8 characters and one uppercase!!! I have tried several different passwords,uppercase letters,several different numbers and still says the same thing HELP!!!!!!!!

Can't get past sign up saying need 8 letters, one of which must be capitalized. Have 8 letters one or two capitols still no good can't use, but what insurance co. Uses.

Why do I have to log into synch and log in again to check my dashboard. This whole UI seems like it was made by 6th graders. Now that I think about it.....why do I have this stupid device clipped to my pocket that does everything and less then my phone can do with Google fit?

It doesn't sync correctly unless you sync at night. I hadn't synced in a few days till just now, and it shorted me steps from yesterday. I had 13K, but it only registered just over 9k...

The update made this already terrible app even worse. I hate the constant log in between functions. It never gets all the data when syncing even if fully charged, always off by a thousand or so steps. Can't see any other members names. I can go on but you get the idea. Complete rubbish!

Instructions aren't complete. If you aren't good with gadgets with hidden features to find, give up and get a different brand. United Health Care screwed the pooch on this item. App freezes, device fails to sync.

Help page errors out. Cant sync a replacement trio. Cant sync other fitbit devices. Feels like they want you to get frustrated and give up

The app would not sync with the device. On top of that, the app ate up almost 500 meg of cell data in under 12 hours. Terrible program.

Had to get new device, last one stopped charging. Set up new device on app, synced, and nothing has changed. Doesn't matter how many times I sync my new device. It still shows old device info and battery level on app.

The ONLINE HELP button on the home screen logs you OUT!!!!! SYNC instructions are incomplete. To sync, you have to cycle through device menu to "SYNC" screen, then press and hold for 5 seconds to enable BT, then press "SYNC" on app menu. Device is locked to the first BT connection, cannot get a new phone unless you also get a new Trio.

Ever since the new update, it won't take me directly to the app, I have to wait for it to switch to a new website. Before I lost my tracker, it would take several tries to sync. I now have to sign in EACH time to view my info, and the names are no gone in the ranking section. That took the fun out of everything. I no longer know who I'm competing with anymore. The support group is gone.

Clumsy interface/instructions. For people with password troubles, it does not say it but you have to include a special character in your password. So a !@#$% or one of those as well as one number and one capitalized letter. I was stuck here for a bit.

I cant even sign up to get started with the app. I keep getting a message that says my email is invalid and I have used 3 different emails. Smh
