The Vault 4th Step Inventory App allows you to enter your inventory information in a logical step by step way, then saves the information in an inventory spreadsheet that is laid out much like many of the 4th Step guides that you can find on the internet (like Joe and Charlie’s). The difference is that the Vault app lets you work on your 4th step anywhere, anytime that you are free and in a safe place, NOT just when you are free at your home with your notebook. It is Vault Code protected at all times, so whether it is on your nightstand or at the coffee shop, NO ONE can access your inventory but you.
We decided (through much discussion) to minimize all instructions on HOW to do a 4th Step. As alcoholics, we had no shortage of opinions on what each of us believed were the best instructions. We decided to use the original text from the Big Book for the actual questions for you to answer, instead of rewording them as we saw some of the 4th Step "guides" do.
Your sponsor may want you to write out (with pen and paper) your 4th step. If that is the case, you may still utilize the app to collect your inventory information, then after printing it out, copy it over by hand.
This app is not AA reviewed or approved. AA does not endorse or approve anything or anyone. All quotes are from the 1st edition of the Big Book. This app was created by members for members. Thanks to their generous support this app is FREE to anyone world-wide. Remember: Our primary purpose is to stay sober, and help another alcoholic.
Thanks,

I would give it 4.5 stars if the display size adjusted to fit my phone and there were a couple more features... Other than that, it appears to do what I want it to do.
Really helped me on my 4th step alot, I have trouble with remembering to bring my notebook everywhere but since I always have my phone this was a God send, helped me do my 4th step in the time laid out by sponsor and in the exact format he wanted me to do it. Thank you so much to whomever made this app.
I would love it, if, I was able to actually write out my resentments and the effects. This app limits me to how much I can enter. Writing out an inventory takes about an hour. If I could text out my thoughts and actually E-mail everything all at once, I could get through my 4th step.
I completed my 4th step to find that the app will not email me the list as promised. When I try to send the email, it is blank and does not attach the pdf of my 4th step like it says. If someone would help me with this, I would rate the app a 4
I love the fact I can jot down events as they come up, in the privacy of my phone. It's so simple!
I'm sober and finnaly have peace because I let past people's wrong go acknowledging it was me.
Very well done! True to the big book while taking advantage of technology. Looks good, easy to use, well thought out. Thanks!
Super helpfull for on the go thoughts, you can just add it and not have to remember till get home
Just what I was hoping to find. Very simple, and exactly from the Big Book...I love the ease of use and the security function.
I like the app. It needs more latitude to arrange the 3; 4th step topics
Very nice but editing entries difficult as cursor constantly relocates to end of entry
Can't, won't send file to print. Now it says to enter correct email address and won't accept any.
No problems once I got started on it.
Hard work if you are up to it
Very helpful
Awesome 4th step
Step work
I love it!!!!!! Yes download it!!!!!
Good stuff
I have tenth step one too. You guys should develop an 11 step one too!
Will not down load this app sucks
Its so helpful for not only keeping it organized but safe and all in one place. Yeah i could lose my phone, but unless you know my password knowledge could see it anyway. Another thing that makes this super convenient is the wherever i am, if something pops in my mind (seems to work that way)i can just open the app and jot it down. Pretty cool!
I'd been putting my step 4 inventory off as I didn't know how to write it down and fit it around my lifestyle. This app is perfect and lets me do little and often as I can. Thank you.
This app helped me get my thoughts organized while working step four.
It is helping me to overcome procrastination, it gives me an structure to follow. Love it
Congratulations, this app will help many 4th step strugglers, very well written. Thank you! :)
Makes it very easy to do the 4th step! Not sure I'd be able to do it without this app.
No more excuses.
Keeks crashing
Awesome..Awesome app
Easy to use, let's you work on your inventory when thought come to you and you don't have to go searching for your notebook.

I broke my arm a few weeks ago, and started my step 4 a few days ago. more than great to work it on my phone, and be able to make additions before moving to the locked columns
