About Sleepless in AP:Keep screen on
Keep screen on for your specific APP. Select an APP, then your device will NOT sleep when you are using this APP.
For example, when you're playing a game or using a specified APP, your device will always awake and not auto-sleep.
* Support Android 7.0 Nougat and above!
- To use Sleepless in APP on Android 5.0 or above, you must go to "Settings -> Security -> Apps with usage access" and enable access of "Sleepless in APP"
- Android 5.0 disabled old method to get top APP, so need to enable this access to make Sleepless in APP work.
- Several phones from LG and Samsung above Android 5.0 doesn't support the Setting page "Apps with usage access", so these phones are not supported. It needs manufactures of these phones to upgrade system and support the setting page.
You can select any of your installed APP, while these APPs are using, the device will always awake until you leave the selected APP or pressing the power button.
For example, while your are using a reader app, it is annoying that device automatically screen off all the time.
Using this APP can prevent the screen from turning off when you are using any of your specified APP!
How it work: This APP will detect the foreground APP you're using, if the foreground APP is the selected APP, this APP will hold a full wake lock to prevent device from suspend. After you leave the foreground (or press power button to sleep), will release the full wake lock.

When I open the notification window then close it while the app I want to keep the screen on for is open, then sleepless doesn't get re-enabled. I'm on Android Nougat.

YES! Finally after months of these types of apps not working, and not knowing why, this one cracked the code with the 5.0+ permissions! THANK YOU! This app indispensable for apps like Maps, Grocery LIsts, Weather Radar while travelling, Sports Score apps, etc. Yea!!

This is just the best app. No annoying permanent notification, no stupid over complicated settings. You just select the apps that should stay awake and it simply works. Notification while working so you can see when it is active.

Salute to your app that it do its work even without root. I use Never Sleep from Xposed not long ago and it work flawlessly until I reflash my stock ROM.it does not work anymore so I search on store and found this 1.thanks for this great per-app no sleep app!! :D

This one is a great app, the only flaw being that task killers kill it easily and once killed, it needs to be explicitly launched in order to keep it working. My suggestion to the developer(s) of this app is that they better provide an option to pin it to the notification bar along with an icon, that way it won't ever get killed and keep on serving its purpose.

With the recent fixes it's now working amazingly in terms of not letting notifications causing the app to assume you've quit the active app and therefore not keeping the screen on. Still random instances of Google maps closing on me though with this on, but at least for PoGo, it's working perfectly. Thumbs up!
