About Moto Toggle Widget (ROOT)

Home screen widget for enabling/disabling GRPS data. It uses standard 'Data Delivery' settings and does not touch APN settings. So, you can change Data Settings in System Settings or by widget. Unfortunately, due Android security, it requires root to works correctly.

Widget should work at any Android 2.2 and higher mobile-device, but skin is highly customized for MotoBlur phones (it looks like identically to other Blur widgets like GPS/WiFi/Bluetooth Toggle).

***** READ CAREFULLY *****
Program consists in three parts: main widget, system module for data management and it installer. Run MTW installer, press install and reboot your phone, before using (widget can be found with long tap at main screen). Uninstall system module before removing program (or widget will remain at phone)!

This is exactly what I was looking for! But I also agree 100% with Yuno-chan and Nevermind's reviews. No horizontal look when the phone is flipped. The toggle action doesn't give you a feedback like the built-in ones do with a rotating circle. In addition, sometimes the widget won't update even when the toggle action was successful (i.e. toggle-off action was successful, but the icon would remain in toggle-on status). I have to toggle on-and-off again to get the widget to update. Love this otherwise.

Searched thousands of for gprs enable/disable widget. But ecery one says it is not possible. But now I have an app that makes it possible. Awesome guys...

Rooted Motorola Bravo 2.2. It does give feedback in the form of toasts & widget color change. Immediate response & icon looks good. Tried 4 other apps that didn't work, so very pleased w/this one! Well done!

What I would like to see: behaviour like the stock Blur widgets. When you touch the toggle, it turns "disabled", and shows a rotating circle. During that time, the widget is locked. This one, however, doesn't indicate anything upon touch, and sometimes is slow with enabling/disabling data — so the user gets no feedback on if the widget reacted to the touch at all.

For the past 2 years I've had my Droid X, every time I wanted to save my battery, I needed to go into my settings and wait for the Data Manager, etc. Now it's a widget, and I put it right next to my WiFi. Tap one, tap te other. Really easy to switch over!

Tap to it n it said reinstall. Don't show on/off for gprs/edges for mobile internet. Plz fixed it.

I've tried many of these widgets, but this is the only that working.

Loved the Froyo integration. The widget works just fine. However, when flipping the phone horizontally the toggle still looks like a vertical one, only "stretched". Minor glitch but other than that I'm happy.

Works perfectly just doesn't match the visual theme of my homescreens. If they'd add visual theme adjustments it'd be perfect!

Do not install this! It will not uninstall. Ruins phone! I don't know what I am going to do. This app screwed my phone!
