Gluten free food checker for Android
Since update can no longer log in please fix ASAP
Scanner doesn't work a fair but of the time which is frustrating , but brilliant when it does what it's supposed to.
You have to pay to use it.
It's a good idea and a great app when it works...the bar code scanner is very intermittent and it takes ages to load up while shopping
I thought you were ment to be help celiacs but clearly not as a membership fee is wanted before I can use it....
Scan is not great. That's when you can log into it. Keeps telling me password is wrong
With new phone (Nexus 5x) the barcode scan displays the image upside down which makes it almost impossible to fit the barcode on the screen.
membership required to use
All I ever wanted was a searchable list of certified gluten free products. I don't want to log in every time (why? It's fiddly!) I don't want to have to have an internet connection (lots of supermarkets don't have good reception). I dont want things organized by category. Just give me a text file of products, one per line, so I can do a find. Perhaps do a more intelligent soundex/stemmed search. But don't give me something that looks and feels like a crap enterprise IT system.
Really useful for checking foods, especially if you need to follow other dietary requirements as you can set your dietary profile. I can't currently eat GF Oats and it has an option to exclude items with these in. Highly recommended.
Couldn't log in to app to even get started , was looking forward to using it
I already have to pay extortionate prices for gluten free foods so I don't bleed heavily when I use the toilet and endure agonising pain, what sort of people try and profit from people with problems like mine??? Membership fee? Disgusting
Forced to create a membership at cost, it's not free. Fair enough if that's how it is, but doesn't mention that before you download
Scanner doesnt work 90% of the time
Doesn't let me log in
wow apps
Doesn't reconise most things you scan even though they are everyday items. I have set it to exclude GF oats but it still says products are suitable for me. Not impressed at all
You can add your own extra allergies so that it shows you foods that suit your own peculiarities, which will make life easier. No more ooh look! - oh, it has sesame/nuts/etc so I can't eat it anyway!!!

How do I sign up. It only has sign in. And I'm in the US. Does it work here?
Love this new app much better than the old one.
Massive help as my daughter is go
Waste of time
This app won't even let me log in. When I contacted coeliac UK apparently I have to pay to become a member before I could use it. Not helpful. 1 star until it changes to free
Fantastic app! Really helpful. Thanks so much.

This does not always work and I have never managed to download the catalogue successfully to use it offline. However, when it does work, it's brilliant. It would be nice to be able to specify additional allergens, that aren't in the most common, eg flax seed or pine nuts but it's SO useful
