Foodfacts-How Food Affects You for Android
All KINDS of wrong nutrition info here and no option to correct. Multiple same products with different ingredient lists. Apps like these are too frustrating to consider reliable. Pass!
Keeps on closing when trying to search.. could not get it to work..Samsung S7 Edge
Never worked since I installed it. Will uninstall and go back to using the website.
The database is great but the app errors out, stops working, and closes too frequently. The website isn't much better. It asks me to verify I am not a robot each time I search even after I log in.... Uninstalling..
GUI seems awkward but clicking on Search doesn't activate keyboard so no search. Forces one to scroll through some very long lists. For me, this is a fail. NEXT!
I keep getting a message that the app has stopped. I Uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the same message.
The scan feature doesn't work.
Almost as good as their iPhone version, so 4 stars. Worth registration because across all devices, including computer, I learn when "healthy" foods really are not so healthy. Very private, yet tailored to MY needs and tastes.
Never opened just crashed
I can't even create a correct profile the app is so hard to maneuver. If I use the web version I can at least connect to my FB.
Would not let me register. After all questions answered, it froze.
Didn't work, scan didn't work and everything else said premium needed.
Says Connect with Facebook but you still have to register. I'm not registering.
Almost all the items I scanned said gluten free and not all of then passed in your app. Many items bar code id's are not in the system but I type them in and then they show up
Love that I can scan something while shopping, and find out if it has questionable ingredients. Eliminates having to stop and read every box!
So you let me sign up online with Facebook but I can't log in with Facebook on your app nor can I use my email address associated with my profile to log into your app.

The UI is not user-friendly at all. I hate that I have to sign up (and couldn't actually complete the sign up page because the app crashed). And I wasn't able to use the app at all due to it crashing. (Galaxy S6)
Can't open on Samsung Galaxy S7, immediately crashes.
I've tried multiple times to load additional items to the list of items to avoid. The app crashes ... screen goes blank and freezes up. When I issue the back, or undo, hot-spot, the app kicks me all the way out. I'm seriously not impressed.
Stupid developers
Never opened just crashed
Used for 1 day now I can't open it....
Does not work
This app really has more features than any other food app on the Play store. You can scan bar codes in the app and see what's inside, including ingredients, easily understandable grades, and potential allergens. I use it every time I go shopping!
Takes all registration info, and can log in via browser, but app login just hangs. I uninstalled the app. Sad face

After installing it, I gave it my height and weight. It changed my "Goals" for my to caloric intakes of like, 3100+, etc. When I attempted to change only the caloric intake goal to 1850 or so, it hung on "Saving" and never stopped saving. This is on an LG L33L Smartphone. The app also requires you to subscribe to a premium service for features like "Ailements," which allow you to see what foods may cause what symptoms (IE: Headaches, etc.) Which can be seen FOR FREE on their main website. (Which by the way, their main website does not allow you to set anything like goals, favorites, etc. Only the app does.)
When I got to the birthrate section I had to scroll all the way back to 1971 from 2016?! Forget that! Just let me type it in!
It's still growing but definitely enjoying the app. New update finally made it work on my phone!
I downloaded it the other day and I've tried to launch it many times since then all it does is show me the smiley face logo they have. When it fixes itself I will give a better and real rating
This is so helpful! For someone who doesn't always know what different nutrition facts mean, I love that they include a grading system. Smooth interface, easy to use, definitely five stars.

The grading system of this app is the key to what makes it great. I like how you can quickly scan the barcode and instantly gives a letter grade rating the product!
