I installed the barcode scanner app from within the app. No matter what food item I scan, it doesn't recognized any.

Dark blue words on dark brown background. What was the author thinking! Of the many food items scanned, not one was in their database. It asked if I wanted to manually add items. Are you kidding? It's a great idea, gone terribly wrong. Those who like it must not have a life, because it's too time consuming to work it and you must have 20/20 vision to even read it.

It could have been the best app for me but unfortunately alarm doesn't work. I add item and item's expire date and then I turn alarm on. But nothing happens when expire date ends, alarm doesn't verify, no notification etc. My expectation was more about it
