Slow communication with the kickstarter backers. Not disclosing that that the product makes a public hot-spot from your wifi (that is illegal in some countries) and not letting it me disabled are some of the downfalls to name a few. Just get a chromecast audio that is cheaper and supports more services.

What a horrible experience setting up this tech. I'm on day 2 and still there is no way to group 2 of these devices into a single group. Great hardware, horrible software that offers a miserable experience for the user. Please, please tell me where this mysterious 'group' button is so I can set it up once & for all.

Tried on Nexus 6p doesn't detect gramafon, had to use other phone to get it setup. Please fix.

Gateway to modern music streaming.

It needed some updates, but it's getting better every update! Upnp support for playback of network stored music and new Gramofon software to be released in early 2016.

... and because you need this app to set up your Gramofon, then I guess this app rocks too! It's so easy to use - it's almost turnkey. Thanks Gramofon.

The darn thing is just hopeless. Getting connected is an essentially random process. The gramofon configuration channel does not appear in the list of Wi-Fi channels, so configuring the gramofon is usually not possible. Then for reasons unknown the device manages to connect to the Wi-Fi but still is not recognised by the app. I'm sorry I bought the thing and I hope Chromecast Audio gives me a better experience!

The device worked, for a while, and only after alot of trying. Now, it refuses to find the device at all. Reset, nothing. Turn off and on, nothing. Pathetic waste of time and money. I could make a better one with a raspberry pi and for less than half the price. Latest update, I thought it might now find my device. Sadly no. And these guys don't seem to care either.

Hace un tiempo adquirí un gramofón a partir de kickstarter. Todo muy bien, hasta que hace poco actualizaron el firmware de forma unilateral. Ahora es todo un desastre. - La WiFi tiene que tener el mismo nombre que otra que ya disponga. - Además, todo está en el mismo rango. - No puedo acceder a la configuración desde el ordenador, sólo desde el móvil instalando más software. Yo quería gramofon para poder crear una nueva red con un SSID distinto, y en un rango IP distinto, sin embargo ya no es posible.

I bought 3 and they worked just fine and then I got a new wifi router. Now, it won't let me turn off wifi cloning! What a joke. Why is this now not an option? I do not want to clone my wifi for everyone to use. I will now throw them away and tell everyone they are sold to open up wifi for strangers and not for listening to music. WHAT A RIP OFF.

Arrived in Holland in two days shipped from Spain. Setup was a breeze worked instantly. I use it with Spotify. Great sound. Not too cheap at 59 euro's but worth it for me.

I've been using the unit for months without issues. If you can't connect using the app, first connect using your tablet or phones WiFi app.... Then use the Gramofon setup app!

Worked well for a few months, was actually impressed with the wireless sound into my quality separates system using Spotify connect. This morning refuses to work for no apparent reason. I've tried everything wired connection, uninstalled the app, Spotify, reset the internet, nothing. Gramofon app will not go beyond endless loading message, app and Spotify both see the device but cannot send any music to it, Spotify tries, however the weak link appears to be the abysmal app and even worse user guide Avoid!

DO NOT BUY ANY OF GRAMOFON UNIT... I HAD 2 AND BOTH BROKE DOWN AFTER 1 MONTH !!!!! It keeps flashing and losing wifi connectivity. Support team provided solutions that are not even working or close to the problem..... they do have any idea why and how to fix the units .

Might require a bit of polishing but worked without any issue for me.

Can I get a refund?

Never asks for password for the WiFi you want to clone, then the Gramofon reboots (after the reboot you cannot use the setup app again) but fails to connect to WiFi.

Samsung galaxy note tab and S4. Both WiFi networks knocked out repeatedly, light won't stop flashing app won't find the device. Utter, utter crap, very badly marketed, will be sending it back for a full refund. Nothing more than a pretty light on a black box.

Worked well except that the first WiFi password was printed in very small characters on the bottom of the device. After connection the volume was very quiet and there was a constant buzz. Eventually I used a filter on the cable and the buzz disappeared. The volume thing is annoying.

Perfect. Worked first time, good sound quality however the Spotify Connect volume is on max. The User Experience on this setup app could be improved and the password under the box is pretty tiny. Thumbs up!

I had hoped it would be simple and convenient. Nothing more, nothing less. But I can just not get it going. Fails to authenticate each time on multiple android phones. Tried to reset, no go. Reinstalled, no go. Too much effort. Another useless piece of equipment in my cupboard. I expect little from support. Too bad

Can see my network,but can't find device. Instructions say to enter the password etc. on the back of the device which you never get the opportunity to do. Really frustrating little more than a flashing light on a box. Would send it back but that's going to cost more than the thing cost in the first place.

Read and followed the manual. Up and running straight away. No problems here. One happy daughter! Using tab s.
