The Adventure of the Empty House (by Arthur Conan Doyle) is presented by Folium Partners. There were 56 original stories written by Conan Doyle and published in The Strand magazine between 1891 and 1929. The stories are divided among five series. This is from the third series, “The Return of Sherlock Holmes”.

Three years have passed since the death of Sherlock Holmes during his struggle with Professor Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls, leaving Watson alone to investigate a difficult case. But when a stranger appears and offers assistance, the doctor comes to realize that appearances can be deceiving.
