Folder Player Pro

Kept this app after changing 3 cellphones. Nothing comes even close. All the other apps want me to store my music in other ways but folders work for me and this app works for me, too. One of the few apps that never have stability issues and I have hundreds of songs in dozens of folders.

Excellent app. If only there were a playing screen showing the track's album art, so I can know which folder is being played, especially when there're a lot of subfolders.

Only player I use. Try others once in a while but nothing else compares with ease of use. Good support, I put a question on the web site and waa answered almost immediately.

Have been using this app for years. First app I load when I change phones. Simple. Does what it does and nothing more. I gave nefertiti been able to find another that just plays and works.

Great app, great idea, too. Decided to support the developer and get the paid Pro version. But not sure if it's any better than the free version. Crashes, stops unexpectedly. Still doesn't play .wma files

I have used the free version for sometime as it was the only player which could get to my SD card where my music is stored. You will be surprised how many media players just can't do this. The only improvement I could suggest is having a skip backward option on the lock screen as it is a pain to have to unlock the phone just to go back one or two tracks.

This app is close to perfection. However I am still unable to delete playing track. I want to physically delete!

This is the player I have been looking for. You can play the music organized in your organized folders. Absolutely AWESOME!

Still maintain this is the best music/folder player there is. Simple user interface but as capable as any desktop based music player.

Stable bomb-proof reliable... what else is there to say. Seems to have all the little toys we like... one thing it could do with is a level stabiliaer so all times play at the same regardless of their recorded differences. Not enough of a problem to steal a star

Dont know why, but app keeps crashes on my Oneplus one. It mostly happen when app is running but no song plays. After that whole sound fails on mobile phone and I need to restart it.

Playback stops after several songs without any apparent reason or explanation. Maybe it's the BT speaker's fault, but i would expect a report explaining the source of the problem so i can fix it...

The free version is more than good enough. Bought pro version just to support developer

I went pro as i like this app. I would have gave more than 3 stars but for some reason when I click on equaliser it tells me it's not available as it's locked by the other app. Why is this? When I pay for something I expect everything to work. Hence why I gave only 3 stars

The best folder player, indeed

Awesome player. However, seems to crash frequently on Cyanogen 13.1.2, especially when initially picking a track.

I've been using it for a number of years and I just love it. Moved to PRO to support the team.

Went through 10 music players trying to find one that simply plays subfolders, so I can do multiple albums without the fuss of creating (and updating) M3U playlists. This fit the bill, with a no-fuss interface that doesn't come with bloat features I'll hardly ever use. When you have the right tool for the job, it's worth every penny of the price

I like its simple but very functional design. I used the free version for a long time and decided to pay for this pro version as support.

Great app, i would like to see an option to hide status bar icon!

It disable s Dolby atmos on lenovo a2 tablet I tried many settings but only after uninstall of the folder player and many reboots I have the Dolby again !!! ( I tried the same procedure many times and I am sure the folder player caused the problem )

I love this player! It rapidly became my favorite! It's simple, clean, looks good and does what it does extremely well! It has all of the basic features, plus some extras, like pausing when you unplug the headphones, you can set your Home folder if you want, Repeat Song/Folder/Shuffle, etc. And it even works with some of the lyrics apps, such as Lyricsboard (I tested it myself). And the support is Premium level! The developer responds quickly and is very responsive to user input!

Got an s7 edge now folder player will not play any flac files. The stock app will. Folder player site no help. Says that happens but they must keep the app light. Now they are light of me. Of course they already have my few dollars.

For everyone sorting mp3s by folder and not using tags this is the best app.

Google's Play Music and other such players aren't easy to play your own music the way you want. I like the simple interface and the sleep timer. Developer responded quickly to a feature request, that it already is built in. How could I not get the Pro version?

I love the free version, which I have used it for just over two years so it's about time I showed my gratitude and supported the developer.

Android devs get a grip on real life. Folders were invented over 2 decades ago! The dev of this app is right: My digital life is organized in FOLDERS, not a damn media library with no hierarchy to speak of!

Its absolutely perfect and I upgraded to Pro version in order to do crossfade Great equalizer and all the customizations I was looking for. I love being able to browse by folder structure, no un-necessary animations and bullcrap like the others. This one just gets to the point and very fast and reliable

When you think the app couldnt get any better, a new awesome change appear once in a while. I just love it! If you have a problem with the player (unlikely), support is nothing short of exceptional. A must have app for all music listeners!

This used to be a really good music player, but now I can't even get in and out of my favorites list. And it crashes whenever I try!

If this has the mp3 Tag Editor, it will be 5 stars.

This player is really good, but can you add a way to remove the 'where was I' button? It gets in the way of adding some files to Favourites.

This product is top shelf. I enjoy the advanced capabilities. With folders my way, it allows me to easily create my own radio playlist. Cross fade is wonderful. Fine control over every aspect of how it plays for you. Even if, how loud, and how often, if ever, to bother you while you rock out. I am very pleased and quite impressed.
