Folder Player

Like the app, but it only supports the internal_sd folder. Not able to browse all folders (eg cannot browse to /mnt) So, of no use to me long-term. Pity, as I really like the UI etc.

Great app, does exactly what it's supposed to do! The only upgrade I'd like is combined shuffle and playlist loop, as it does stop at the end if the playlist, usually while I'm driving.

All my music and podcasts are all ready organized in folders on my laptop exactly the way I want. When I transferred it all to my phone what I needed was an app that would play by folder. This app does exactly what I need it to. Interface is clean and straightforward.

It's easy to use and does everything I need it to, even playing FLACs and OGG Vorbis files.

This is the ONLY music player that will read a usb or anything i throw at it. Wow download over 10 apps n none have rhat feature including folder players its easy to lose faith in app producers. Thanks, look fwd to new apps

Simple and effective. No ads. Now supports Nougat. Still has bugs. Freezes on my Nexus 6p Nougat sometimes when screen is off. The next song will not play and the home button will not minimize the app. Have to power down the phone to fix. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Great app. Better than the other dozen i downloaded to gain access to my folders. I had to reset my phone though so i lost all my FAVORITES... Can they be restored if i backed up all my data on a PC HDD ?

Playing from a neatly organized folder is a common sense feature to implement. Don't understand why the popular ones make it so hard to find songs u want to play from the folders. Certainly this is an app I would vouch for.

I've used to use this player. But it stops working under 7.0. It runs, plays the first song and then freeze. The only way to proceed further is to reboot a phone. :( Fix it please.

I love you so much. . When I first opened this app up, hadn't done anything yet, there they were my music pieces i lost... I compose music on the piano. I had forgotten all about this beautiful piece I had written... I can't tell you how much that did for my heart to hear myself playing this beautiful piece of music that composed... My heart just basking in every note my heart soaring free from all the stresses the world has played on me. Without you would have been lost forever...

This app is clean and easy to use. Actually one of the things that really impressed me was that all the buttons were labeled. This means that all screen readers can access this app no problems. I also love the repeat function.

Tried many players but all were so user unfriendly when it came to folders. This one suited my needs best - play directly from folder. Love it.

Last few updates have made it bad... Skips, pauses, doesn't see music randomly in folders, shows them empty, was the best of the best. I hope another update comes soon to fix it.

An awesome folder player that is free, but with no annoying ads or limited functionality unless you pay. Hands down the best app on Google Play. Thanks developer!

Nice to just play individual songs, or everything in a folder. Not a lot of features, but enough, and simple is the idea. Long presses on buttons do useful things.

Its good player ofcourse. I have something for developer to look at. Start your player and while listening ..Download mp3 file from internet.once mp3 is downloaded, browser will promt to play with...give it folder player. Now if you download say for example four mp3 files and play by folder player if you want to exit folder player you have to do it four times.

Tried then all... Always came back to this one. It's practically the only folder music player that has it all. Great job!

My classical music collection is stored on a micro SD. 1 folder for each composer, 1 subfolder for each work by that composer. Simple? Not for music players that reorganize everything using embedded MP3 info. Folder Player, OTOH, does what its name says, which is what I want. Its closest competitor is 1by1 which works as well but has a less elegant appearance. My wish list for Folder Player is for it to play folders stored on OneDrive. Beat Music tries to do that but is too buggy to use.

This is a great app. The only problem is that the volume can be low. The native app can play the tracks at a decent volume so it's not a hardware limitation

Just what I wanted! No more music player apps screwing up my folder structure or delivering me 'auto playlists' full of random tracks. This app is brilliant!

Pls let player run when bluetooth kiks in. Now when I get out of range, I have to start player again, when in range. Pls change settings.

Best thing I like about this app is the ease of folder navigation and to be able to play video files as audio. I'm going pro.

No playlist support. Player is weirdly embedded into folder view. No lock screen controls. Can't seem to set a default folder so you have to drill down from the top every time. What's there seems OK if it fills all your needs.

YESSSS !!!!!!!!! No more putting up with nonsense tag based players !!! Simple and no frills app, will play your music exactly the way you see it laid down on your directories. Delete all other players, this is all you need !

Thus app very nice in low MB and save's our extra MB and cache memory. So I like it.
