Not even foilChat can read your messages.

Everything sent through foilChat is fully encrypted by default without compromising on user experience. The encryption is invisible to the users. FoilChat is as fast as anything you can find on the market.

Instant messages, self-destructible messages, push-to-talk, file sharing, photos direct from app, contact or location sharing and fully searchable cloud storage are among our key features. VOiP and videochat, remote removal of sent messages and a desktop and browser version will be coming soon.

At foilChat we believe that securing only the transfer of messages is not enough. Unlike other chat applications, foilChat won’t need your phone number or any other personal information that could be used to compromise your anonymity. We have no way to find out your identity and reveal it to anyone even if we had to.

Key technologies used for encryption are Fortuna (PRNG), AES 256 CBC and RSA 4096. In layman terms this means the random numbers used for encrypting messages are generated by the sensors on your device, not on a third party server. We then use top encryption expert recommended algorithms to encrypt all messages so that only the intended recipient will be able to access them.
