Focus Lock

not actually locking any apps on lollipop even after selecting the app to be locked. for example, i locked facebook, but was still able to open it before the "break time" started.

Well, it's the closest in feature set to what I'm looking for, but it keeps crashing when I try to lock one app (Facebook only), and when it does lock it won't keep me out. It could also use some updates and other features, such as the ability to lock different sets of apps in different ways, it to limit total usage of particular apps. Fix the glaring glitches and I'll bump to 4 stars.

This is perfect for stopping me from getting distracted while revising.... however as people said there are ways you can go around it. Especially fb messenger app is blocked but it still appears unblocked. Other than thats its perfect for blocking all the other apps.

My apps are locked for more than 12 hours. It says it'll unlock by 0:28PM!!!! F****g do something about this!! Better fix it up. Is there are way to unlock it?? F*****G waste of time.

Help me. I set I minute time to check how it works. But now it's showing wait for break. I have not given any break time. HELP ME.

I locked the apps from the app but the apps are working perfectly as if nothing happened at all. This app is just a waste of space

Set the lock time for 10 hrs (long day) and a 15 min break, selected the apps, pressed the lock button and all of the selected went to the locked list. Press the lock button next to the app, says "will unlock at 5:15pm". ALL apps still fully functional... Did I miss something? Is this app only supposed to block incoming notifications??

I love this app and think it's great idea, but it is far from complete. The ability to schedule a time frame to block a app would be fantastic! Put me in Beta! I want to be able to block my work email app so I don't receive distracting emails late into the evening, it just puts me in a crummy mood and has been one of the biggest reasons I don't want corporate email on my personal phone.

Used to love this app and downloaded it to my new phone. It appears to work at first glance. Doesn't crash or anything. But it doesn't actually lock my apps! I can still open and use everything I've "locked". Hoping for an update to fix it. :(

It will not lock any of my apps. There is no help section, no troubleshooting. Plain and simple it does not work. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but in my application manager it comes up as "android wheel widget" I'm super bummed bc this was exactly what I was looking for.

Even though I only set my timer for 2-3 hours, it goes as long as 24hours. I do however like that you can not unselect apps but it should be unchangeable during the time. Or you have to buy credits to unlock things. Defeats the purpose to be able to unlock

I locked facebook and Gmail, then tried opening them up and was able to immediately! Rubbish, possible I've done something wrong, but I'm an IT expert and I can't figure out how to make it work!

I just downloaded this app for nothing. I selected certain apps to be locked, and according to focus lock it says they are locked, but I'm still able to access them. Uninstalling!

It used to work just fine until I upgraded it. Now it doesn't lock not even 1 app. What's the use of fixing other things only to mess others up?

This is something I really need but not working. I set my selected apps to be locked for 3 hours and I can still access them no problem. It also says they will be unlocked 20 minutes from now but I set it for 3 hours??

I selected my apps to lock, they went to the locked list, but then I just tested it and opened one app that I had locked, and it opened right up, no trouble. Very disappointed because this is a great idea

This app has literally saved my life. I was suffering from smartphone addiction,and this got it under control. I love checking my social media in the morning, and putting a 14 hour lock on it right when I'm done. It's perfect! Thank you!

Does what it's meant to, looks good and professional, only thing is I find it very hard to use... Maybe it's just me, but I could do with some startup instructions because at the moment I'm not sure how anything works! Some more suggestions: possibly add a widget, add those things that are 'coming soon', make it easier to select apps, make it more clear how to use..! For people who are looking for a distractions blocker though this is reasonable and worthwhile.

It forces you to not use your phone for however long which is super helpful when you get notifications and 30 mins later you're still browsing Tumblr or FB butttt there should be a select all button bc having to individually select the apps is time consuming or they need to hurry up on the group choice "coming soon" isn't really helpful. Good app if you just want to lock a few at a time

Would be amazing in theory, but it just straight up doesn't work with Lollipop. To double check I actually blocked the google play store just now, but I'm still able to leave this review.

Took me ages to work out how to use it and then when I finally did it would tell me things were locked but I'd be able to still access them no problem?! Terrible app and one that I was looking forward/really needed to use. Don't bother downloading

For an app that is supposed to improve productivity, I sure have wasted my time everyday permanently unlocking apps one by one so I can lock them again. And just found out that the apps it "locks" are not locked at all. I can still open them.

If you don't have the self control to stay off Facebook, then it's hard to find the self control to not just force stop the app and go on Facebook anyways

Doesn't actually lock the apps? I have them all set as locked but they open like normal even though they're supposed to be blocked for the next 7 hours. Doesn't work at all.

It doesnt work. I lock all the apps I want to lock, but the apps continue to work normally. I can open them without any problems. Does not help at all.

Really love the concept of the app and I need it, but it didn't work for my phone. I can still access all the apps that are suppose to be blocked right now.

Helps a lot...when it works!! Lately its been not locking any apps, or locking them past the time, or stating an unlock time and then not doing anything....its simple and easy to use yet there are so many issues

This was just what I needed because I often get very distracted by my phone. No I can use my phone as a calculator without ending up watching YouTube! I also like that you can set a break; thats very useful. Huge huge thumbs up from me!

I cant seem to find any Break interval !?? I input the break interval time : 2 hours... Which i thought would make the app self-disable after 2 hrs or if not this than it would give me a 2 hr time on my cell

I like it alot but the fact that you can't schedule a free time or a break is really annoying and also that it does not lock apps instantly after the break is up! But in general it's a really good app :D

Says the apps are locked but i can use it all on my HTC Desire 816 Lollipop

This app probably would have been great, if only it would WORK on my phone! Apparently it is not updated to work with Android Lollipop! :P

Could have been great app. But as soon as I clicked on clean , the apps were unlocked. Tried this redmi 1s as well. Same problem. there as well..... Please fix it asap. ................UPDATE.....I haD given this app 3 star but after trying it for 1 week I want to give negative marks for this . horrible app

I don't know if this has anything to do with my phone, but if I lock an app, I can enter the app easily while it is supposed to be locked.

This app doesn't request usage access permission and can't actually block the apps I specify. So while it's a great concept, it's not working as intended.

I locked 4 apps, 3 being social media...I could access them all. Going to try a different app.

However requires a lot of correction and tweaks to make it works. Just to tell you that it didn't work on Xperia Z2. Thank you.

Downloaded the app and added programs to limit to the list, it even says app will be available at the break time l set up. However, nothing has ever locked....at all. Kinda pointless IMO, am l suppose to use the honor system here? There are better apps for that.
