Litchi for DJI Osmo for Android
Glitches while streaming. How do you zoom??? No info or help available. Where is a tracking feature? I use Litchi with my phantom 4 pro, it's good there. The Osmo app for my Osmo+ lacks advantages as well as some standard features. I expected more from the Osmo version. Am disappointed and feel as I waisted my money on the Osmo app.
It's alright. If it wasn't a replacement app. Or if it had the settings the dji app has I would probably use litchi and ditch the dji app. But to use the litchi app I have to close and clear the dji app. And when u do that to any app you can cause other apps to stop working properly.
I was thrilled to buy this litchi app too but icons are way too small, please double the size, unreliable operations (even after fc other apps). I am disappointed litchi:(
Does not work properly. Glitchy streaming to the phone and keeps crashing during the panos. I do not recommend this app. I'm requesting a refund right now.
What a waste of money, this app is so finicky, sometimes it works sometimes it's the biggest pile of shyt ever created. If this was a free app I would delete it.
Stop after a few seconds of taking pano.
really poor app, seems like they never use their own product
No tracking functions for Osmo. And seems laggy
why my osmo when use timelapse motion cnot generate in vdeo.just tke a lot of single picture in my memoty
Why no support for the DJI Mobile!?
Well I tried several test sequences and so far the results are totally unacceptable and unusable. The camera (X3) bounces in the pan axis so your resulting movie is horribly erratic. A minimum of 5 seconds is useless for smooth flowing short shots. Minimum should be 1 second . 0.5 would be nice if possible. Fingers crossed you sort the bugs out.
Why at such a premium price does the app require internet access for licensing? Tried using the app the other day is a national park where there is no mobile coverage and the and the app displays a message that it can't contact the licensing server! WTF! Open the DJI app and connects to the OSMO fine... no licencing issue or internet required. The app also consistently crashes and then refuses to connect. This is still very much a beta app and nowhere near worth the price!
So far good features. connection to my osmo is more like gambling. life feed is weak and bad quality so far I got connected after several attempts. I'm still optimistic that this app becomes that valuable like the litchi for inspire..
I have had a few issues. Finding out the timelapse oscillation issue is due to the osmo hardware and can only be fixed in post. Then the motions I would set would not run completely to the end. But the worst one is if I am not in a place with cell phone reception the app tells me I am not authorised to use it. Which makes the app useless. This is some kind of security to protect against people using the app illegally? It makes it harder for people who have actually purchased the app. This should be fixed asap or perhaps refund the money. It's got good potential just like the Litchi for drones, but fails right now. Hopefully an update will come soon and fix these issues. UPDATE I have dropped another star. My app would not work at all anymore. Kept asking for me to buy it when i allready bought it. I uninsulated it and reinstalled it so I could get it to work again. Agree with other reviews. It's not ready for sale this app. Needs a great deal more work.
Program keeps crashing
It's a disappointment right now. I use the Litchi app religiously with my Inspire. I was hoping this would solve all the worlds problems by offering awesome features. You get 360 pano, and that's it. Sadly going back to the DJI Go app. =(
It crashed after about 4 minutes and never worked again. Garbage for $9
App kept crashing after 25 seconds. I hope they fix it. I was excited to try out motion time lapse
No useful features found on the litchi app for phantom 4 such tracking, orbiting , way points etc. This is not acceptable
Need more improvement
Litchi don't sit on their hands, and if it takes after the drone app, it will evolve quickly, so give them a fair go. In the mean time, it has features the Go app does not.
As well as I like the standard Litchi, that much I dislike the version for Osmo. Many issues, and of the most frustrating is that after just 2-3 on/off iterations, Litchi looses video display from Osmo. It connects to WiFi, but there is no video. Tried many times, easy to reproduce, result was always the same. For the given price, this is not acceptable. Product was released w/o proper testing.
This app has a lot of issues and serious limitations on the time lapse. Although the concept is great i can not give it a decent review with so many bugs and limitations. I will update my review as they update thier app for the better. But for now, highly unrecommended. Currently the video recording is not even saving files to my memory card. When it did the video pans had moments where the panning stopped momentarily ruining the shot.
Too me its not better than the dji go app the one for the drones are but this one was an awesome waste for bucks... only reason reason i bought it was the impression the app did for the drones but this app right here in far from impressed i guess its not always good to buy things from companies because of the satisfaction of their past work

Won't connect. Keeps disconnecting if it ever connects. Currently unusable
I had high hopes for this app unfortunately it fell very short. Luckily I was able to get a refund hopefully they can fix this app and it will be worth purchasing in the future
Thanks!

With this app you can pre program the most amazing smooth shots on the osmo such as a 20 second pan from point A to B. It's much smoother then using the controller. The motion time lapse is also amazing and 360 panos. With this you can create virtual tours. Very capable app despite some teething problems.
