About Playlist Manager

THIS APP WILL NO LONGER BE MAINTAINED. It has been replaced by New Playlist Manager which has all the functionality of this app plus more.
Those who have purchased this app and would like to switch to New Playlist Manager, just email purchase details for both Playlist Manager and New Playlist Manager to the developer who will then refund the cost of Playlist Manager.
Development will continue for New Playlist Manager.

It has unique features you will not find with other playlist apps such as creating smb playlists, query builder to create custom playlists and much more!!!
I have over 600 albums on my device with more than 6500 tracks. Creating (very) large playlists is a breeze and will not lock your device.

To get the maximum from this app, ensure that all your mp3 tags are suitably completed.

Comprehensive support is provided on:
http://www.theo.klinkweb.nl/

Another special feature is the ability to create your playlists automatically. It will select the music for you!!!
Create playlists based on music folders, genre, composer, year, decade, artist, album, recently added or create your own selections/combination using the custom builder.
Manage your tracks by listening to a track and if you do not like it, delete it there and then.
For those wanting to use their playlists on other devices or with other android music players, this app allows export of m3u playlists both in Unix or Windows Format.
If you have Poweramp installed, this app will offer tags such as "Rating" and "Times Played" so you can create native android playlists from these too.
To make android playlists available in Poweramp, follow the instructions on my web page or watch the video clip on my website.

It's great for making playlists for Google Play Music which you can also export to Poweramp. Making playlists are incredibly easy compared to the other apps. Only downside is the album art glitches in the app but it doesn't take away from the usability.

I bought this thinking it could generate playlists on my phone (Samsung Note 4). It does nothing but generate random playlists for 25 songs. I made three playlist and none of them showed up on Poweramp. Well, I hope you're happy with my $1.99, thanks for nothing. So you think leaving negative criticism is dumb? Making apps that don't work is dumber.

I'm a huge music enthusiast with thousands of music tracks, for me what this app can do is the stuff of dreams. It solves the problem for me. Playing music on the phone is ideal for sorting and rating tracks. I use Poweramp which is the best I found so far. Playlist Manager can make a playlists directly from the criteria of Poweramp ratings. There are loads of fantastic advantages to this. The best being able to select tracks to delete both on my phone and on my computer. This is particularly helpful after the KitKat update no longer allows me to delete files from my SD card. I've owned record players, and tape decks and there are different fashions for enjoying music. But the way I find the tunes I really love, are the ones that stick around on my playlist. I find it enormously satisfying to be able to get rid of rubbish tracks. My habit is to scoop a large chunk of random tracks from my entire library and then be pleasantly surprised or horrified at what I'm listening to. I have about 15 GB of music on my memory card, I have these tracks mirrored on my hard drive. Separate from my main library. Using your playlist tool makes it an absolute piece of cake to synchronis

Works well.

The user interface is confusing, and the only options for choosing music for a playlist is by song or by album, but not by artist. My music library has messed up id3 tags, so that is a chaotic mess. If your music has perfect tags, this program will probably work. Otherwise don't bother

Drag&drop is sweeet!!! I've been looking for a playlist editor for ages that updates playlist changes, this one works for exporting for playerpro and rocket player. You can edit&add to existing playlists!!! UPDATE: Sorry I was confused about using this with doubletwist, because exporting m3u with this allows playlist different media players as well as doubletwist, but it is double twist that uses it's own local edits to a playlist on device so no other media player gets changes until iTunes sync with pc.

This is one of the best playlist managers on the market. It has special features such adding a random album. Other nice features are the m3u playlist export. Now I can use these on my pc or use Poweramp!!!. It has a comprehensive user guide too. Something you not often find with apps. Really easy!!! Nice new folder feature in v1.11

This program is wortht least 10 times what I paid for it! I needed assistance from the programmer and received a response within 2 hours. The programmer requested that I give feedback on how to improve his app. This is the best service I've ever received on any app that I have purchased. Just BUY IT.

*UPDATE* This app is wonderful. I inquired about an option for creating playlists from song ratings and the developer responded in hours and had the update with this function in days. There is nothing like it on the market and it is EASILY the best $1.05 I've ever spent on an app. *(earlier review)The creator is very open to suggestions for improvement.
