Moon+ Reader for Android
Thanks a lot. That solved my problem. But why does it detect root?
Annotations are broken. Free apps handle annotations better than paid version of this app. Very disappointed.
The latest update made the total number of pages and the page I am reading disappeared. I can't find out how to get it back or it is a bug of this update
Читалка очень удобная. Приятные темы, ночной режим, выделение слов и добавление описания к словам. Одно но: при выделении описания слова добавляется только начало, не полностью, около трех символов, а остальное не задействуется. Минус за это.
The latest update broke the app. It crashes at start. Clean install of the app did not fix.
App used to be one of the best book apps in the store that even let you search for Mobi & EPUB books in your internal memory rather than just looking for your kindle books. Has lots of decent and nice UI. However the free version never pushed ads down your throat like it does now. Every single time you back out of a read, even if you just skimmed a new book to get a feel if you liked it, you are put in front of an oddly specific for your tastes or location that opens automatically and who's ad interest targeting is on a level close to creepy. Buy the paid version if you like this app but dont bother with the free version.
The night mode sucks. I want white text on a black background, dig. So many reader apps screw this obvious function up!
Having trouble highlighting text, how can i enable the chapter feature? The touch screen edge?
I'm okay we it
Really good app for reading e-book
Very nice app. Easy to use
It's very useful! I love it ????????
Easy to use
I absolutely love this app. I used a couple of different apps and found this one to be the best. It's great for night reading and it's super easy to find, highlight and make notes. I do wish that there was a page indicator because using a percentage makes it hard for me to find a certain part in the book when someone tells me a page number.
It would be a much better app if you were able to organise shelves better. If I could name shelves or have different bookshelves for different type of books etc. I read a lot of articles and small pdf files that I would like to group together. Mostly these are for university so it would be nice to have a shelf or entire set of shelves for one subject, sort of like folders but set out like a library. At the moment I can't even move a book onto an empty shelf until the one above is full so I can't really organise everything here which means I have to use other apps. Please add this sort of a feature as I would gladly pay for it. Also when zoomed in text selection is not accurate, it selects text many lines above as if the app is unaware of the zoom. This needs to be fixed. Thanks
No better eBook reader than this! But please, will you support epc.xml eBook format? I don't know how to convert it to epub. I can't even find an app who could read it. Maybe you can be the first! ???? Thanks! Salute to all the awesome people behind the creation of your app. ????
An amazing E-Book reader! No doubt! But my one gripe is that i can't see the total page number. It isn't listed anywhere, even the mini status bar. Only the total page number in a given chapter is displayed. It only shows the total percentage of pages read and an estimated remaining time to finish the chapter. Could you please, in the next update, add an option to show the total page number? Thank you! Keep up the good work!
Perfect app it's customizable, it has every option you might need, you can import any kind of e-book, remembers your progress in all the files you've recently read... I hate to give it 4 stars because it's almost perfect BUT the issue is that I've searched for a multi platform app that syncs your progress across devices like phone and pc but almost no app can do that, including this one
It is stellar, except for two things. I couldn't find voice reading function. Add a quality voice reading and I will pay gladly. Add very intuitive dictionary and translation of words, just like in Google' playbook. With those last things, this app will own the market.
I read books, cut cords, I don't want ads. So much for free information. I remember when there no ads. When did the ads get every 3rd ridiculous screen, forced click? I have uninstalled games with too many yet fewer ads than this. I appreciated this app for being a clean, simple, being able to find sdcard and formats, back up to a better ui reader. Things are so grim, I cannot even afford an app, but when I can, you just lost that pro upgrade.
Love this app. A lot of exciting features. Some of the features I would like to add : 1. Dictionary should be more integrated. Pre-installed within app would be welcome. 2. Reading speed should be available books wise not as overall. 3. Alot need to improve in UI section. Still , it or far better than other app.
I use this daily - great app. I have but one request: Customizable ShortCut Buttons. Depending on environment, adjusting the BlueLight filter helps battery life alot. Wish there was a quick way to make it less or more opaque, like how brightness can be adjusted by dragging a finger on the side of the screen.
Doesn't have smooth continuous scroll option (allowing you to scroll through epub books like a webpage). Obvious feature. We're using smartphones, not e-ink devices, no need to lack this feature. Going back to FBReader.
I have some books that I have bought in PDF form, and it's difficult to read that tiny, tiny print on a phone. This is the only app I found that allows you to easily rewrap text to make PDFs easily readable on a phone screen. Highly recommended!
Lighting defect after update. When reading at night time the lights make my eyes difficult to read. If I readers can adjust light level, it will be better. 4☆ for an old version. Updated version is suck ????
This is the best reader app I've found; puts kindle & aldiko to shame. Adjusting font size and screen brightness is a snap, and I'm thankful that fullscreen mode can be turned off, which allows constant access to music controls on my v20 second screen without having to switch apps. The paid version gives you even finer control, which I don't need yet but I'm glad the option is there. Couldn't be happier!
It's a good light weight app but somehow it is not user friendly I cannot go to the main menu every time I decide to quit the book in the middle. It is not a rocket science you just need to give a proper navigation, a simple one, don't complicate the things where it can be just kept simple.
There are a lot of positive reviews about the UI but I personally find it confusing. I only recently rediscovered the "tap in center" functionality. The swipe to turn page feature seems really sensitive and covers most of the screen. Also my screen auto shuts off before I can read a page so I end up tapping the page to prevent that then having to swipe pages back because a tap is also a page turn. Wish both gestures and sleep were configurable.
Been using this app for a long time and this is the first time that I'm giving this a rating. I love this app. I really do. But after all this time the BOOK INFORMATION is still buried! I don't want to have to open the book first to read about it's information, I want to have the option to read the book information outside. No more digging. This is what bother me for a long time. Devs please consider this recommendation.
I loved moon+ reader. I bought pro version. But now, character encoding selection dissapeared from menu. And app itself always choose wrong encoding. So i cant use it any more. Unfortunatelly useless.
This is a very good. But unfortunately I am unable to see the page turn effect in my Lenovo yoga tab. You should try to include dictionary in-built in.
For some reason, some of the features that used to be part of the free version were put behind the Pro paywall. I used to use Moon+ Reader exclusively for reading ebooks, but after being forced to pay for something that ised to be free, im no longer using it. Good job losing a fan over a few bucks.
I used to love this app. Then I got a new phone. I tried to reinstall it 5 different times, and every time it told me there was an issue and wouldn't let me open the app. Such a shame.
I've tried like 20 different book readers and all of them stink! Like why do u have to pay for it to read a book... I already have the book I just want someone thing to read it to me. Also the books suck!
There are few things I don't like about this app. Like 1. Overall layout is not in material design enough. 2. Themes and backgrounds are old. 3. CAN'T SET DIFFERENT FONT STYLE AND SIZE FOR DIFFERENT BOOK.
Used to be excellent for reading & highlighting, but the highlighting feature is going haywire at the moment. Pick a word to highlight and it jumps to the line above. When I try to correct it, it unhighlights parts I want to keep highlighted!
It has potential, but does have display glitches like how a chapter title is displayed, does not support azw3, flipping pages back and forward is not that stable (like flipping back but it goes forward...). Small things which makes reading just a bit less pleasant... It's sad, because it has a nice user interface and tons of options. What I miss the most is its book meta data handling. Organizing books, editing authors and their titles and downloading covers were really easy with this app. Organizing the books is a peace of cake too. With a really little work on the reading experience it could easily become a 5* reader. Such a shame...
Heyyy please tell me where's the "mobile view" because i dont want to adjust the font size everytime i have to scroll it. Thank youu ! Good App tho.
Where the heck is the main menu? Maybe i hid it by mistake. Whatever, if i can't find it after several minutes of tapping around the screen, single tapping, double tapping, two fingered tapping, dragging... Your UI is broken. If you can show a highlight/search window on long-press, you can add a menu icon at the same time. Sorry, if I'm totally lost by the ui, it needs improvement. In this case, unusable. one star

Hate the blue light feature, can't get it off. Used to love this app, gave it a 4-5 stars at least. Plus I had the tapping system perfected to go back to the table of contents, now it's so screwed up I hate it. I use this app to download studies in and write notes and highlight main
