FlyCleaners: Laundry On-Demand for Android
The service is fine. The app is broken for me on the latest update. Has to re-download on a new phone and there are Java errors preventing me from adding an address.
9 bags. Perfect. Packed nicely. On time. Super happy.
When I originally scheduled a pick up, I also requested a delivery between 8-9AM. Then this morning I wake up and check the app. The delivery time is not listed. I check to see if I missed a message to tell me why. Nothing. No missed calls or emails from FlyCleaners. Then I try to reschedule, and might have to wait until 3PM, but I don't know for sure because the app lets me enter that time but only displays next week's dry cleaning drop off.
I have tried to schedule deliveries and pickups. They are 1/2 on pickups and 1/5 on deliveries. I am waiting for my clothes for the third day in a row. This would not be worth it even if it were free, and I wish I could short their stock.
In my area yet. Metro Phoenix, AZ
Tons of issues with the new update and service has gone from bad to worse.
They charged my jacket as a coat and washed two of my shirts instead of dry cleaning them. Further their prices are completely hidden away. On their website the price of dry cleaning a "coat" is not even listed, the only pricing is for a jacket which is 8.50, but when an order is sent in they instead charge 25 dollars for a coat. Will never be using this service again, would not recommend it to anyone. Stick to your local cleaners.
Ever since the update the app just hangs. Awful!
New version doesn't work at all
very bad driver bad service I live in new York and I see that every day
Cant even sign up... would love to try this service but the app wont recognize my phone number as valid. I think there is a bug. My other friends tried as well and theyre phone numbers arent recognized either.
I wanted to have my clothes picked up in the evening and delivered the next morning. I paid $5 for the express service. I try and schedule a pickup and the app won't let me. I wake up early the next morning - still won't let me. Finally I get a notification at 7:30 that my payment couldn't be processed and I can't get my clothes delivered... I put in my payment info (which I was never prompted for) and finally can schedule a pick up time that night at which point they apologize for being delayed...
First order, brought back someone else's clothes. Android app doesn't allow you to sign up. If you email them they take your info and sign you up on their end. A bug they've had a while but seem uninterested in fixing though it inconveniences the customer. Class act.
Service is fine, but the app sends spam notifications so you have to choose between being bothered and being notified of deliveries.
I spent over an hour trying to create an account, sign-in, enter credit card information, and setting up an appointment. In the end, the app couldn't verify my card and I could not progress any further. (My card has been verified by several other apps) The flycleaners service itself is great, but their current android app is terrible on the galaxy 6. Really hope it's updated.
The app dont let you sing up. Waste of time
Can't even sign up

I was an early customer, and loved the service. I don't any more. They constantly screw up. And I don't mean that it happened once or twice, but every single time I used them in the past year. Every. Single. Time. They continually say I'm not home when I am. My door opens directly to the street and my dog alerts the entire neighborhood when somebody knocks, so I know it's not me. They continually treat wash and hang as dry cleaning, no matter how clearly and explicitly I make my request, which takes twice as long and is three times as expensive. Today they did the whole not home thing. Within minutes I was on the phone with customer support, who told me that the truck was now on other deliveries and would be available again in 6 hours! It couldn't have been more than 2 blocks away! The only reason I give 2 stars is for their patient and immediate customer support. But I'd prefer rarely needing customer support, instead of relying almost completely on them. A good idea. Poorly executed.
I love FlyCleaners because it's super convenient and the prices are reasonable. I read about them on techcrunch and they weren't yet available in my neighborhood, but about a year ago they opened here and i've been using them ever since! definitely beats going to the dry cleaner (it's a 7-minute walk) and my wife and I hate going to the basement to do laundry - it's pretty dungeon-like down there. I see that a few people have had issues, but we've never had any
They are a really great company!!!!. Excellent service, from the pickup of my clothes to the delivery/drop off of them. Personnel is highly professional and very polite. The app is very responsive and intuitive. You can accurately see the status of your order. And talking about prices, I think they don't have a match is this department, period. Open on Sundays and the best part I don't have to move a finger. Have been months since I don't do the laundry myself. This app is a must-have!!!!!.
I used FC once. Never again. It took an entire week to get my dry cleaning back. FC threw away the Ferragamo box I sent my silk scarf in. I sent the box because I wanted it put back in the box after cleaning, not hung on one of those sticky, white, cardboard hangers, because it leaves a residue all over the silk. No point in having a silk scarf dry cleaned, for it to come back with sticky, white residue. $16 per dress is too much. Laundry was even worse. It was returned damp, so wrinkled, it needed ironing.
I used FlyCleaners regularly when I lived in Brooklyn and really love them. App is simple to use and the service is very convenient. Unfortunately, I just moved to the Bronx, and found out that FlyCleaners doesn't service my area. When I called, they mentioned they'll be expanding, but I'm a bit too far out so probably will take a while. Next time I move I'll make sure to check first if the place is covered by FlyCleaners, as now I'm dreading having to walk to the corner laundromat every weekend.
Over the course of a month I used Fly 6 times. 3 of the orders involved calls and emails to sort out problems, missing clothes, extra clothes, and so on. The delivery and service people were all very nice and tried to be helpful but in the end there were just too many mistakes.
Flycleaners is such a easy and convenient app to use. From their cool trucks, to their awesome drivers I gotta say this service really is a life saver in so many ways! Great prices and fast turn around on laundry and drycleaning. Plus, who likes to do all their laundry on Sunday night? Not me!
DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THESE GUYS!!!! 1. My clothes delivery was a day late 2. They delivered the wrong clothes 3. No customer support Seriously, just go to your local dry cleaner, these guys are just outsourcing it all there anyway. Going out now to buy more socks and underwear.
Flycleaners wow!!! Thank you whoever you are that created this concept. Love the app, really easy to use. The delivery drivers are real cool too. Some characters in there. Very good overall service.
Use this service many times, nothing has been lost and my clothes come back clean and folded nice. Definitely convenient, saved me tons of time by having them do my laundry.
The second time I used them I sent wash and fold along with 7 shirts. The shirts are missing and they say they will do an investigation which may last 2 weeks. Do not use this service, it is clearly disorganized and not customer service focused
No way to select hanger / folded shirt option, therefore shirt come on hanger as default despite me writing on special requests to fold the shirts. Service otherwise good.
They say you can't buy time. I don't believe it, though, because FlyCleaners takes all the tedium and time-consumption out of getting clean clothes. One tap, a few minutes and a friendly truck driver later, and I don't have to sit around waiting for the washer and dryer to finish, or struggle to fold my clothes neatly. It all just gets done, and I get to fill my schedule with more fun things!
I've been using this app for 3 months now. So far it's been a flawless experience which quick delivery and turn around times. Excellent experience thus far
It won't let me sign up, keeps saying my phone number isn't valid... what a waste of a download
UI is completely broken in large-text accessibility mode. Button presses are not at all responsive when you try to request a pickup.
I do my own laundry :)
My roommate and I were using flycleaners without a problem for a while now. Recently flycleaners managed to lose half of her clothes. They are working with her, but days are turning into weeks. It's still not clear if they are going to be able to replace her clothes, and the experience has just soured me to the company. When it works the service is great, but it's clear that there are systemic issues that allow clothes to be lost forever. It's hard to recommend or use a service when you know it's very possible you'll never see the clothes again.
Used to be good, but now I find it to waste more of my time than actually going to the laundromat. Always late, or booked up, sometimes they say they tried to come to your house but you weren't home, even though you are. This happened to me 2 times in a row, wasting hours waiting for them.
I have no idea where my clothes are and they have terrible customer service in addition to being overpriced.
Would give 0 stars if possible. - endless bugs - sloppy interface - inconsistent functionality Couple all of that with price hikes...

The app just doesn't want to take my adress in. It has lots of bugs. I wanted to try it since i see there trucks around my area a lot but i can't
