Mouse Toggle for Fire TV

Works exactly as advertised. Very nice and user friendly. Developer is nice and kind and will reply very fast. I contacted him about another app of his and he replied in minutes. I reccomend this app for people that want to use an AirMouse like function on the fire tv. It is a great solution for those who want to watch shows from apps like ShowBox.

Will give 5 stars when you make it comparable with 64 bit systems. It will not run on my 65" element amazon tv as it is 64 bit but runs on all my firesticks. Great app otherwise.

Worked fine with my fire stick. Doesn't work with my new fire this just received today. Really disappointing

Dec 8, 2017: NEW Version 1.10: no change from v 1.09: Could a setting be put into the app to allow for centering the mouse with screen boundaries? Developer, thanks for the update, however the mouse is still not reading it's location correctly, eg in ES File Explorer the actual hot spot is about 1/4th of the screen up and 1/4th of the screen left of the visual mouse circle/pointer. My tv is LG OLED 65B7P. The off location makes Mouse Toggle useless for my FireTV 3, ... ..... ..... ... .... ........ ........ ........ ........... ......... ........ ....... The install apk for the Android phone, which lets you find your FireTV wirelessly and install Mouse Toggle from the phone is SUPERB, thank you. ... ..... ..... ... .... ........ ........ ........ ........... ......... ........ ....... Enjoyed with FireTV 2, up to the new FireTV which just arrived 10/25/17. Tried newest version of the toggle, 1.081 and the scale/resolution is 'off' of Chrome or other browsers that it is very difficult to pinpoint where to press the mouse for selecting items.

Worked for 1 stick only. Tried on another 3 and it can't find them. Disappointed as it's a paid for app

It doesn't work on my fire tv sick 2nd gen. I'm going to ask for a refund.

Worked for 5 minutes and now the mouse cursor doesn't show up on the screen. I either would like a refund or someone to help me to get it to work please!

At first we thought it was rubbish, then we put new batteries in our firestick remote now it works like a dream. Finally we can watch show box from the telly seamlessly!! So far so good

This app has worked on every other firestick and Fire TV I put it on but the brand new Fire TV I just received today with the newest update the mouse doesn't work as it should when I select something over the courser at selects the thing to the right of it and it's not allowing me to drag and swipe things as other devices let me.

Works ok but clumsy. 1/3 the price of a Bluetooth mouse. Just buy the mouse. This only uses phone to load app on FTV - then use remote.

it doesn't work, maybe a video would be more helpful because this clearly isn't and you're charging $2.99 for it. I want a refund, this is aggravating when you think someone is helping you but they're not.

It's not ready it's location properly. When I point to something it's clicking something else. It's not lining up with what I'm pointing at. I'm using the new fire tv 4k

It just didn't work despite following the instructions. App couldn't even locate my fire TV so I couldn't test anything else. I found another way to do it from you-tube and for free.

Worked at first but now does not actually show the 'cursor' icon anymore thus becoming useless.. cannot recommend.

It does exactly what i was looking for. Your fire stick remote will function as a wireless mouse. All apps that could not be used on the fire stick now are alive on my tv !

Work really well - when nothing else did. I specifically wanted a scroll feature and it delivered, while no other app that I tried worked. Just one little complaint: you need to double click the play/pause button to enable mouse. Problem is, if I had previously watched a movie with VLC, it will start back playing the movie instead of enabling mouse. Would like to see the enable mouse button changed. All in all, highly recommended and a great job!

Exactly what was needed to navigate showbox on latest firestick. If you find that you cannot scroll down showbox films, navigate to bottom left then click on fast forward button.

App is just OK. Needs the ability to change the color of the mouse cursor (often too hard to see). Also, will not work with a Harmony remote. Lastly, non-existent tech support so if you need help, don't expect to get any. Update - developer is looking into adding support for Harmony remotes. With this feature the app will rate much higher (IMO).

Installed from Google Play Store on my android phone, "sent" to my Amazon Fire TV from this app, and tested successfully in the Comcast Xfinity app that I sideloaded on my Amazon Fire TV in under 3 minutes! It took longer for me to leave this review! I didn't even have to exit out of the Comcast Xfinity app on my Fire TV - the mouse app settings screen just popped up in front of the Xfinity app I was already running, I confirmed settings, and it went right back to the Xfinity app! Only now I have a mouse!

Works very well once you understand it. 1. install app on phone 2. enter your Firestick IP address into app (can find this at settings/about/network on the FireStick) 3. send the app to the Firestick using the button within the app 4. When in an app on the FireStick (such as a VPN or whatever) double tap the play button. A little dot will appear and allow you to move it up/down with the remote cursor. This allows you to use apps that are not native to the Fire remote 5. When done single tap the play button to return the remote to normal use. 6. The mouse feature does not work on the home screen of the fire...you have to use the normal remote feature.

It's a great app.. It's sometimes a bit buggy with few apps when there are multiple pop ups but does the job.. It would be great if we could have the flexibility to choose POINTER color, shape, color fill , etc.. Hence the 4 star..

I wanted to use bt sport with my fire stick. When I double click play/pause button it just goes back to the original screen.

Was trying to side load some apps on my fire TV. some app windows made it impossible to navigate or click. This app was easy to install and works as advertised. I was able to get those apps running with no problem. Thanks!

I rarely review apps, but this deserves it, I was hesitant to pay $3 for this app, i would pay 5 now for how good it is. My degree is in IT so I really appreciate the lightness of the app. This is going to save you so much time. Thanks man!

Try a couple others no luck got this one sent it in with app2fire 30 seconds later boom mouse mode working and stable had to turn off and on ads to work thanks a lot for this app.

Works as advertised. Shame on Amazon for not including this feature.
