Add a mouse mode to the stock remote control or gamepad for Android TV.
NOTE: ROOT access is REQUIRED for this app to function.
Features:
Works just like a regular mouse that can click, long click, wheel up, wheel down, and drag.
Simple to toggle between regular remote and mouse modes.
Requirements:
1.) Android TV device(see below for supported devices).
2.) Stock / original remote control or game controller.
Supported devices:
Nexus Player
NVIDIA Shield TV (all models are supported including the new 2017 models)
Mi Box (MDZ-16-AB - USA model)

Works great , brings a whole NEW level of use to the Nexus player and Nvidia Shield . Sometimes has issues on Shield, where it takes sometimes 10-15 minutes after a reboot or when switching from the remote to the controller for it to start. Hoping an update might make it work on the shield remote too ☺

It works as a mouse. However, if I select a video within a streaming app, after a few seconds when the "mouse" disconnects, my nexus shuts off the video and goes back to the main screen. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I believe if you stopped it from automatically disconnecting after a period of time this would be resolved. Could you implement such an option?

It works in the same way as the mouse toggle for fire tv. This app is one of the main reasons I rooted my Nexus Player. It's a must have app for a few pesky side-loaded apps I use

Please write a way of picking mouse mode from the nVidia remote, only controller can switch, useless otherwise. Maybe make the voice search click 5 times to switch or press and hold back button or something....but please make it switch. NOTE: you, with remote, the undocumented switch, up-down-up (or down-up-down, your pick) To exit, press play 3 times. play is where vol up ends.

This app sucks says its compatible to my Nvidia shield but it doesn't work can't get the mouse to activate what a waste of money

Honestly this app is perfect for my nexus player... On my shield TV its...... aight... The mouse shows up randomly... Probably easily solved by using an an analong stick all the time with no toggle!

It works as expected for a NVIDIA SHIELD TV. I am able to use the remote control as a mouse. On the DPAD, click on the UP and DOWN buttons quickly for the mouse icon to show up and the stop button to toggled back.

installed on Nvidia Shield tv..using controller its great to be able to mouse click without using a mouse..Cons: sometimes starts up when you don't want without clicking play twice. maybe because A button is tied to Play/select in most apps.
