Toddler Counting

The scenes are presented in a minimal design format, that is designed, to allow the child to concentrate on the action of counting instead of being distracted by unrelated design elements.

The application is presented in two areas, area one is where the child will learn to count and the second is where the child is able to check their counting. The Learn to Count area presents three ways to learn counting. The child can watch the sheep jump over the fence while the numbers increment from 1 to 10, or the child can watch the sheep in the field grin as the numbers increment. The third area presents ten scenes numbered 1 to 10 with arrow buttons enabling the child to scroll forwards and backwards through the scenes. Each scene enables the child to count the sheep in the field that represent the number shown on the scene.

The second area of the application allows the child to count how many sheep have jumped the fence and then tap in the correct number to find out if they get a happy or unhappy sheep. The number of sheep are selected randomly. This area also presents fields with a random number of sheep in the field, the child then counts the sheep and taps in the number to once again get a happy or unhappy sheep.
