Rideshare Timer

If I don't use the widget the timer disappears every time it reaches 0. I have to open the app and turn it back on. Secondly the widget is way too big for no reason (4 spaces), and it makes what ever page it's on freeze up. Also you should be able to tap the widget on (it turns blue) tap it off (it turns grey) No reason for there to not be an on off feature. Lastly every time I open my texting app, it resets the timer that is running. So for now, love the idea, but 2**'s for execution, on a paid app.

There were some things I thought should be fairly basic but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I'm not interested in spending large amounts of time trying to get it

Once you tweak the text message part it works great. It'll pay for it self in one cancelation fee. Well Worth the $$ I'm hoping there will be some kind of update or addition to this app now that Uber alternates it's rider to driver numbers when you get a request while still in ride.

The new random uber phone numbers has messed up my system. Any updates in the works to address this? It stinks because I loved the app I paid for but don't use it now since fubers new random numbers update :(

At first it wouldn't send texts. After extensive troubleshooting I found for some reason with my Galaxy S5 if the # of characters goes over into a 2nd message, it stops it from sending. Weird, I know. But after I shortened the message, it works awesome now. With my Note 5 no issues at all.

Thanks for your previous reply... . The timer is convenient. However, i realized sending SMS to the rider only makes them to call me and ask me to wait for them which makes it worse... and uber rep said only contact them when they are late to give them the option to begin charging for time or the ride would be cancelled. So would you be able to put an option to 'send sms without reseting timer?' It's specially useful for surge trips or the ones in the middle of nowhere that you dont wanna cancel.

This app is the single most necessary tool that you'll use as a Rideshare Driver. No more guessing about time. My 'commute' msg asks them to check the address that was entered. Amazing how many times the px's correct their location. The secondary timer msg, tells Pool px's that the wait time is only 2 mins. The primary msg has a better car description than Uber gives, and tells them that if they need assistance to let me know. Great tool, thank you!

This is a simple but great app for rideshare drivers. I can't tell you how many times I've failed to collect a cancellation fee because I wasn't paying attention to the clock! This app allows you to start a timer as soon as you arrive so once those 5 minutes are up, you can cancel the ride and make sure that you get your cancellation fee. Just one cancellation fee and the app pays for itself!

Love the concept but I have tried several things to get my virtual number. Uber informed me that number changes. Follow up. I'm confused as to what numerous is mine and what is my rider.

The app works great for the timer but it quit sending texts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it works for a while, then quits.

I heard about this on a rideshare blog and I am excited to try it out! It's a simple app that allows you to start the 5 minute timer AND text your passenger inside a single screen. So much simpler than toggling between your message app and ridesharing app. Plus you can program it for either ridesharing service you use.

I love this idea because I thought I had stayed a couple times for 5 minutes before cancelling and I didn't get the fee for it. :) thanks for the design!

Continues to make common sense functional upgrades to application. One request. I would like to have the ability to lock the timer on my screen so that I don't accidentally keep my finger on it too long and have it move around. Besides that, its excellent software.

This is not working for me after 2 weeks. Apparently the number that I input - which is my UBER driver number just sends messages to me. When I input the rider number - it doesn't work because UBER randomly changes that number - that is.. it is specific to each rider. Anyone find a way to use this with UBER? Developers?

Nice. Set @ 5 minutes. Double tap on minutes to start & text LYFT rider that I arrived. Double tap seconds for UBER rider text notification. Bada boom bada bing!

I purchased this app a few days ago. I set it all up and the timer and the text work, however every time I try to start my ride on the Lyft app, it freezes the Lyft app. I have to go to application manager and force stop the Rideshare Timer. LG-G4 Android 6.0.

Please enter a valid mobile number.. SMS function wouldn't work for me at all. Galaxy S6 Singapore

This is one of the few apps on my phone that actually does exactly what i need - nothing more, nothing less, no bugs.

I know how to count to at least 5 so once I show up I look at the clock in the car and I add 5 minutes to it, all done.

Good app so far, but commute timer message is not working for my galaxy 7.

Don't buy this just use the Google clock

I receive the text coz my number is listed. How do make it the passenger number automatically? Please provide steps

I use this all the time. Every ride request gets #1 text for pickup details, and #2 when I arrive. Double tap text. Done. Make sure the "SMS sent" message shows up, sometimes the #1 text notification turns off.

Love this thing. It sets right on top and allows you to see when you're 5 minutes expires.

The app does not run on tablets that have SMS capability only via WiFi. That REALLY sucks because I mainly use my tablet when I am working for Uber. It should be able to be displayed ONLY in the Uber Partner app. This is possible. The app called Maps Speedometer does it, and allows you to choose which apps the speedometer will appear in from a list of all of the apps on your phone.. This would be so much better than it being displayed all of the time unless turned off. The widget causes the timer to show up on the screen, but does not remove the timer from the screen on my Note3. So, to turn it off I have to go into the actual app, or it displays on my screen constantly, no matter what app I am running. It would also be nice if it was possible to turn off the last trip timer. I have no interest in that and it just takes up space on my screen.

Need a separate stop & start button and text message for this app. I have the text option set, but do not always want to send it first thing when starting time. So there should be a small button to send a text and a button to start or stop the timer. I might want to send text at 3 minute mark or whatever. Add this please. Also option to remove commuter timer and only have wait countdown timer.

With the SMS feature, I have not had a to wait 5 minutes for anyone. A timer is great, but with the SMS feature it makes this a must have for rideshare drivers. DO NOT TURN ON DRIVER MODE WITHOUT IT!!!!!!!!!

This timer floats on the screen meaning you can move it where you want. It tracks avg time it takes to commute for a pick up as well as how long you spent on getting to the most recent fare. The coolest feature? Dbl tap the app and it will text your passenger! This App is amazing!

I just bought it. This is a great idea. As I use Fongo make call and send message, can you add an option to send message though Fongo or FreeTone? FreeTone seems better than Fongo now. Thank you.

Nice app, simple to use... if you don't use the sms 2 option you can only use half of the widget to send sms 1.. otherwise you just start the timer with no sms.

I use it on every trip!
