FLIR Cloud™ for Android
Works great most times. Easy interface and easy to setup. Biggest issue you'll find is with Android compared to Apple devices you will not be able to toggle between the video quality (from main to sub). Apple you can see 3MP view live and pinch and zoom. With Android you get resolution not supported error and have to leave revert back to substream mode. Please update Android to match quality of Apple.
I started working with this app since the last 2 hours and I'm still working to understand how it works. Working with this app is like having a headache. I hope the developers of this app understand making an app available in google play doesn't mean the end of the job and they have to make it run normally. have they try to run it before for themselves? It's simple fast forward on a recording is a disaster in this app.
Keeps crashing on Galaxy S8+ while viewing events. App lets you watch one event but when I click on another one it crashes. Does this every time. Uninstall and reinstall app with no success. Customer service not overly concerned about it. Been over 2 years since last update. Buy Netgear Arlo next time.
Constantly crashing. I mean all the time. NEEDS UPDATED AND BUGS WORKED OUT:( Not very pleased with the video resolution either when I go to record picture is blurry. It says it's got the problems fixed bit for a year and a half I have never seen my app update l. Want to give a 1 star but won't let me and it's pretty sad when the 1 star out ranks the 5 star
While the app itself is easy to navigate, it's extremely slow to load options and does not save any configurations you make in the app. If you want to change the video quality and save it, it will always fail to save. If you want to change it through the device option, it will save it but never apply it and will delete the configuration. It never shows me the Main stream and always defaults to the Sub stream unless I use the Video Quality setting which resets to sub after opening the app. It runs better on an iPhone.
They may provide a good product to their corporate customers but the consumer market seems to be an afterthought. With all of the complaints listed here, you'd think they would have addressed at least some of the issues. It's decent equipment for the price but what good is that if their connectivity and viewing software is buggy? How many years since the last update? Seriously? If they are no longer supporting this app, I wish they would tell us what supported app we should be using.
Too unstable. Was working fine until couple of weeks ago in Galaxy Note 8. Now it's crashing every time and is unusable. My wife has same phone and it's doing the same thing. There mustve been an update which is causing this as it's started same time on both phones. It's still working ok with Note 4 or Galaxy tablet.
This app used to work consistently (it was slowish but it worked). Over the last month, however, it won't do anything but crash my phone (Google Pixel). I've uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times but it just keeps freezing me up.
Crashed my Galaxy Note5 every day. Even crashed and reboot my phone. Worst app that I have seen such extreme case. IPhone has the same app, no issue. No update since 2015??? Cameras are great system, just crappy apps.
UPDATE. I have given it a better rating now. It works well for live viewing and making alterations and playback also works. Only issue is playing multiple push notifications as this still crashes the app. If you need help with thing NOT app related use maplins ask a question as I spend a lot of time on this helping people with set up where I can. Fix the multi push notification playback and I will give 5 stars. I have a Samsung S7. Some phones or tablets cope better than others.
Upgrade to Oreo on Pixel XL -- FLIR Cloud app causes catastrophic device crash. Total device freeze, very consistent. Uninstall/reinstall works the first time you run it and configure it. After that, running the app bricks the phone till hard reboot. WORTHLESS TILL FIXED.
Please update app to match iOS app... with 3MP and 4MP support, plus pinch to zoom without have to toggle it would be nice. Interface needs refresh. I see this app is just a rebrand of Dahua, but there app is actually kept up to date... gDMSS... and has these features.
Crashes nearly every time I try to view push notification motion detection. Any ip linked cameras aren't viewable on app even if linked and viewable directly from dvr. Quality of video and playback when it doesn't crash is nice. But expect it to freeze and crash often at least on a galaxy s7
This app crashes and locks the whole phone up on Android Oreo and the only to fix it is to uninstall the app. It looks like this app isn't getting anymore updates so Lorex is false advertising by claiming you can monitor your cameras remotely.
Nice app. Works well when I'm on my home network and when I connect over the Internet. There is a lot of misleading (obsolete?) information out there on how to connect to my surveillance system's DVR. I wasted a lot of time traveling down dead-end paths before finding this.
Usefull... when it works. Live view for the most part seems okay, although if you try to change the stream quality it will crash the app. Playback is extra finicky and only works less than half the time without crashing the app. Lorex needs to spend some time on updates and bug fixes to make it more stable.
What a buggy crappy app. Frustrates me trying to use it. App crashes all the time and even when it does work, it skips through footage. Sometimes even skips whole minutes of footage. Could be so much better. No updates to fix this crappy app either. Big POS!
It's been nearly 2 months since I upgraded to Android Oreo and this app started freezing the phone every time I launch. When are you going to update?? If I didn't have the cameras hard wired through my attic I'd trash this system and get something I can actually use. 2 months of incompatibility with the newest Android OS and no updates. This entire system is essentially useless now since I can't monitor it.
This app used to work quite well on the BlackBerry. Now I have a Pixel and it freezes the phone every time I try to use it. I reinstalled it and it worked a few times and then started freezing the phone again - so it's impossible to use. VERY frustrating.
Its pretty hard to handle. Coming from revo system. And revo its so much better. And easier. And every month they had different updates. I noticed this havent updated since august 2015 pretty lame. Returning this thing. Until things gets better. Just paid $800. Im taking it back and get myself another device. None lorex.
Works ok for basic viewing of your cams, but it's disappointing how it doesn't support high resolution streaming. We all have HD screens on our devices. The old netStratus HD app that I still use for 4 year old cams supports HD streaming, so puzzling why FLIR Cloud does not.
The app hasn't been updated since Aug 2015 and it is apparent. The app crashes nearly everytime you access playback mode. Live viewing is OK once you figure out how to set it up correctly. The interface is clumsy and difficult to navigate. I would suggest not buying lorex until they update the app.
please re code with lollipops os configure right way Its working with qr code but seems work better when you're on wifi but when you're on lte .( i have faster 4glte then wifi ) when you connect qr code with lte its says ...current connection is cannected via relay... and camera open vary slow.. but when you cannected ip and 4g lte cameras open vary quickly hopefully they fix ..soon
Update - I took the recommendation of the manual and connected via IP instead of by device ID and QR cd. Works much better, and works every time now. Original post - This worked for awhile, and now doesn't. I see that the Apple App Store has an updated version of 06/01/2016 v. 2.1.35 out. I hope Android can get an update soon. I have users that need to view and cannot. This should just work. Please fix this, or default the proper settings on the base unit and the mobile phones so it can work.
App works great when its comnected and runnig properly. However, you have to restart it multiple times because it says "network is not available". When it final comes up it crashes. This is based off using WiFi and 4G networks. With a name like FLIR I'd expect a little more stability. There are other camera manufacturers that have better stable apps than this. I hope FLIR will fix this issue and send out an update.

Installed app on 2 iPhones, an iPad and an Android galaxy. Poor reliability on all of them. App sometimes works sometimes doesn't. What good is a security system that makes it difficult to monitor? Doesn't connect to the system and the wheels just keep spinning, failure to connect constantly. Works one time and then not 10 minutes later. This needs serious improvement. Very disappointed.
Has been working fine until recently. Can't access remotely from phones or tablets any longer. What happened? Is there another app? Upgrade? 1/4/16: Worked for awhile again but then stopped. Can only view the cameras on my WiFi. But what I need is over my 4G when I'm not home! HELP
At first there was no playback but would at least work away from the house. No I can playback on 1 camera but will not connect to the cameras unless I'm home which is pointless. That's why it's connected to my TV. Nothing but issues since day 1. Horrible.
Have this installed on my phone and a panel in our bedroom. It will not load automatically and you have to click on each camera screen and repeatedly reconnect to get the camera to show. Then after 15 min all the displayed panels go black. Worthless and complicated app for a very expensive system. Would not recommend.
If you are lookinh for remote access to your cameras look elsewhere... Mine worked for a week then stopped wtf... now all I get is "request timed out" or "error 10006 cannot connect"... Google it I'm not alone. Does not work on the Samsung S5 or S6... totally waisted 1000 bucks and 4 days installing.
How do I give ZERO stars? I bought this system to access remotely. If the interface sucks the whole thing sucks! It takes more than a minute for images to appear. It's NOT a slow Internet! I think it's their poor DNS. Let me pick my own! Also playback doesn't work!
This software needs to be fixed. It crashes often and interface unreliable. Does not consistently let you toggle between multi and single camera view. Have to shut down and restart often for features to work. Devs never respond. If remote viewing is important, buy your camera equipment from another manufacturer.
Easy installation. Work great. Just beware that you need to exit it completely after using otherwise it will continue to run in the background and eat up your data very quickly. In live view in landscape, resolution can't be changed.
Just set up my lorex , scan the code ,enter a name and password but its not popping up to change the password as I see on youtube. all I am getting is timeout , please what am I doing wrong . I change it to ip and still the same thing , HELP NO CAMS IS SHOWING UP CAN`T GET IT TO CONNECT.
The app crashes constantly. I can see and use the app if I open it. Click on push notifications and all I get is a black screen. When using the app it crashes a lot. No problems see the cameras but it's not very useful as it won't stay running.
The video quality is exceptional during the night and day. But the software and app sucks big time! I've sent them 3 report feedback for fails, and no response, I hope they are not replying because they are going to update the software soon. I wish I would have known about how sucky there app was, so I could have gotten a different system. What's so good about a system, if it does not work properly!
The nvr has 6 cameras and 3 are 2k and the rest are 1080p. When I conect with the app I can see the 1080p in high quality while the 2k show that the resolution is not supported and wont show only in low quality. Hope that the app is update for 2k and the soon to release 4k cameras.

The app itself works pretty well and connects most of the time, actually much better chance than my wife's Apple version. The push notification is very slow, on avg 2 minutes, so don't expect it to warn you that someone is coming cause they'll be there before you get the notification. What it really needs the ability to select the motion areas like the PC and Apple versions. Over all it's ok. They haven't updated it in a year so I'm not expecting any improvement soon though.
