FlightView Elite FlightTracker for Android
Ya'll have completely ruined this app. The widget still doesn't work correctly. Every time the arrival time of a flight changes by no more than one minute a notification is sent which has my phone going off constantly. And the interface is awful. I wish I could roll back. Please fix this. Hate I paid for it now.
You can no longer access full functionality of app from widget and it doesn't update. Why have a widget if it isn't really a shortcut. As a crewmember I need to access several flights when I open the widget. Please fix. Galaxy S7 Edge
The widget sucks. Widget does not auto update flights. I have to remove widget from the screen on my Motorola z2 force Android phone. Then I have to bring widget back in screen too see updated flights. Why does a paid app require such work around? This should be fixed asap.
Do you guys actually test updates before you roll them out? You've somehow made it impossible to search for a flight by route.
The alerts don't work which I really need.
Would be nice if I could manage a calendar in the app
The update claiming bugs fixed have made the app unusable. When you try to hit the box for input a flight to track ie airline or flight number, the app doesn't pop up the keyboard. In some cases the keyboard does open up but it takes 10 seconds to respond.
Worked fine until the update.. not the widget doesn't update.. ended up at the wrong gate. Thanks for the exercise! Widget also needs to display MORE than 2 flights. I give it a 2 star MEH. Until at least the widget update issue is fixed. ... Pixel XL 8.0
Edit: after first updating to new version I experienced lag, scaling problems and the app was useless to me on Google Pixel XL and Android O. I cleared the app data rebooted and tried again. App now seems to work well. Previous notification issues are corrected and everything is smooth. This is for the 4.0 version which has since been taken down.
I still like the app very much however since the last phone update it will not allow me to share my itinerary through the Google messenger. I have tried everything.
Loved the app until recent update. VERY slow and clunky to use
The letter to small
Thanks for updating your app, it's important to keep up with technology. At first it was unusable but after a minute it settled down and doesn't freeze. Still can't "Save All" or "Find Alternate Flights".
Edit:hasn't been updated in years. Still works, but no longer my go to. This is a great app that I still use every time I travel. The notifications are good and often times they come before the announcement is made at the airport. The app just feels outdated now. I wish it would be upgraded to material design or at least to look more modern. But I'll take functionality over looks any day
Got the app to follow specific trips and coordinate information. I use multiple devices, depending on where I am. I was not able to install on more than one device without having to pay for it more that once. You need to be aware of this before you purchase or you may spend more than expected. There are other apps that let you install on multiple devices.
This app has been amazing until recently. Randomly stopped updating flight information automatically, which in turn stopped push notifications. My job requires me to keep accurate track of multiple flights a day, an app that doesn't do what it's designed to is of no use to me
A nice app, been using it for approximately 2 years and not had a single issue with it for tracking flights for friends and family. What i would love to see added is the ability to customize your notification sounds. Every time a flight i am tracking gets an update i think i am receivibg a SMS message.
I like how compact the main app's view is, being able to group flights into "trips" and how terse the notifications are. The widget, though, uses SEVEN columns and still manages to show less information than FlightTrack's or App in the Air's widgets. I wish gate information showed in the app/widget without me having to dig for it.
For the past month, on the delays page it's been showing the same 7 airports even if they have no delays and no new delays have been posted
Excellent App! Very resourceful and responsive. I downloaded the Cert. and that resolved all my issues.
I can log in on the website but app will not allow login.
I don't get support with an issue, therefore, requested a refund but no response. Please refund my money.....
I'd give it 5 stars if I could put more than 2 flights in the widget! Why?
I'm still waiting for an answer about this app cuz I paid
Paid for this and can't login with my account on the app.
One of the best and reliable Apps in the market, it's a must have
Not helping
This is a great app that I still use every time I travel. The notifications are good and often times they come before the announcement is made at the airport. The app just feels outdated now. I use (purchased) this app in my 3 cell phones (1 iphone and 2 android). It was working good. But now I can't login via one of my android phone. It always said that Your login attempt was not successful, Please try again. However, iphone and another andoid phone has no problem. All the info I entered for login were the same. Does it has any limitation that only 2 cell phones can be login at the sametime right now?
I have used this app for a number of years. It has always been wonderful. Now it is going downhill. I can log in and see my trips on my laptop. But my phone it will not let me log in. It keeps saying that my login has to be attempted again later. Very very disappointing. How is it possible that I can log into my laptop and using the same password I cannot get into my phone app? Everything was working fine until the end of July. Then I started having this problem.
Specifically ask u to login, create an account so u can share across multiple devices yet doesn't work for 2 phones. Lame/stupid. Dummies still don't understand flight.numbers.are NUMBERS! Why are programmers so disfunctional?
I work at an airport. One of the gate supervisors suggested the free version to me 2 yrs ago. I used the free version everyday to check inbound flights and or flight delays for outbound, so I can plan around the delays to get my job done. Today I update to elite, for 4 bucks just to get rid of the adds. Money well spent. This updates as close to real time as possible. No app can do real time due to security issues. This one is very close however. Used flight aware before this, not as accurate.
I used the free version for a long period of time purchased the version without ads. Liked the ability to send travel itinerary to phone, makes tracking easy, notifications about delays and departures were accurate. Decided to purchase Elite version.
Very accurate flight information. A must for anyone working at the airport. Careful using "Opera Max". It will interfere with this app connection.
My go to app, but it lacks some basics such as reverse destination and departure airports. Newsflash: some of us need features like that! Worth paying for if you need airport boards
If you use it on the tablet, expect "Downloading airport delays" on the Airport Delay List. However on the phone version, no problems at all
The free version is great, but the paid one that cost $4 allows you to track multiple flights, it is way worth it. Also don't get this app that costs $1, I've read a lot of bad reviews. Do your self a favour and get this app.
Not getting notifications of departures/arrivals, etc.
Flights don't update until the app is opened and the flight is selected.

Notifications are turned on automatically whether you want them or not and have to be disabled individually for each and every flight. There's also no way to change the ringtone or vibration. To track a flight, you have to set up a "trip", which is just an extra hassle. The app throws an error whenever I try to log in (though I can log into the website), so I have to enter everything twice if I want it on both my phone and tablet.
