ROM Settings Backup Pro for Android
Update for December 2016, don't purchase until working. The last six ROM update installations have had settings restore issues. I made a Nandroid backup before proceeding, and after a system clean, I installed new Rom, then I used TB for installing all my backup apk's. Now it was time to use Rom Setting Backup Pro to restore all my Rom settings. Good thing for Nandroid backup, because after everything I tried, it would freeze my phone. This program was great ones, and hope it will be fixed soon ????. Going to try it out on my new Samsung galaxy S7 Edge,I will give a new review after my next clean install.
It's not clear if you can safely restore across versions of android.
It is very easy to use/understand and was able to restore about 60% of my regular System Settings and an amazing 99% of my custom Resurrection Remix settings on Google Pixel XL running LOS based Resurrection Remix 7.1.1. I cant' believe it works so well!
It's working! It's working! On previous versions all I would get is a white screen after allowing root access. NOW on the latest version from 12/23 it actually works and I can make a backup and save it to Google Drive and everything! Excellent! ????????
Just Awesome
Want refund
Not working :( White screen CM 7.1
Very useful and a must-have. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, this will come in handy for my devices.
FINALLY, this helpful app can be used with Android N. For whatever reason (likely has something to do with so many different ROMs) the app never seems to restore everything exactly as it was backed up. It just skips some settings altogether. Bottom line, this service definitely saves time when setting up a new ROM or a clean install, which I still do a great deal.
I was really hopeful when I heard about this app but I get nothing but a white screen after granting root. Nexus 6P PureNexus ROM from 11/16 with Flash Kernel 3.15
When I open the app I get a black screen. Tried uninstall reinstall wiping data etc but nothing.

Backed up my settings, then I uploaded the file to my Google Drive. Once I wiped and reflashed my phone there was no option to download my file from Drive, instead I had to put it in place manually using the android file manager because the folder doesn't show up through USB file transfer. And then the file will only show up if you put it into a folder with the exact same name. And then it said the file was incompatible! Totally useless and I would like a refund.
Works like a charm. Go for pro! I've been waiting for an app like this for years
This used to work great and saved a ton of time. Now, though, it just boot loops my phone and I have to full wipe it (has happened with last two ROM versions, using DirtyUnicorns). Unusable now.
Tried to restore my settings and had boot loop problem. Had to wipe and start again. So not happy. Galaxy Note 2 on MM 6.0.1
This app is one I've been needing for some time and simplified what had become almost a job as of late, as my Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML is a hypersensitive, melodramatic little b*tch that requires an excessive amount of tweaking and adjustments each time I flash a new rom, an update or chance anything beyond my stock device settings (and sometimes even then ✋
I never leave app reviews, but this app and dev are a step above the rest. Constant app updates, bug fixes (and specific descriptions of fixes) and constantly adding useful features. One of the best root apps I've used since I started rooting about 5 years ago. Just awesome!
Works great, must have for the flashoholic
Works great! Nexus 6p
So helpful if you flash ROMs! Great support from Dev.
A must have for flasholic.
Thanks for the BrokenOS support #StayBroken
It backs up ROM settings for easy restoration later if & when needed.
Update for bliss settings?
Worth five stars as is but figuring out how to change the save path was frustrating. Instead of on-screen tree navigation buttons or a ".." alias in the folder/file requester, I figured out that this function had been passed off to the back button on the phone. This isn't very intuitive. This seems to be a common pitfall among Android apps.
Does what it says in a clean, bloat-free interface. Worth every penny. A+ (I'll have to buy a second for my RV. 'Cause RVs.) If I had a RV.
Great app, however it seems to fail backups with the latest version of Android 6.0.1. I had no problems on 6.0
This app is essential to those who are always flashing new ROMs. It's beautiful interface and depth of control over what settings to back up is very good. The time it saves in resetting after a clean flash makes it a must-have
Perfect and mandatory app! Thanks dev! If you could add crDroid as default in rom list I'll add a sixth star:-)
Very useful
essential app for custom Rom users , once you have used it you won't want to be without it !
Thanks for being awesome man!!! Keep up the good work :-)
This is one of my top5 most important apk install(s) after a clean flash update. It works beautifully, saves me a lot of time when setting up my rom.(DirtyUnicorns)
But please consider adding official support for Resurrection Remix ROM and the possibility to auto upload to cloud services(Google Drive)
Would love to see our ROM Resurrection Remix supported too
5 star
App works great for backup, backs up more settings than I though would. I recommend this over any other. Now, i wish we had something like this for windows :)

I think it's awesome, some issues with nougat and lineage but I'm sure they will be worked out. Even still, it's an amazing app and WELL worth the measly buck. Support the devs and just pay the buck, it's worth it! If you are a flashaholic like myself, you know what a pain in the butt it is to reconfigure the system after each OS build, this makes that a distant requirement no more!
