Call Control - Call Blocker

Used to be good, but wouldn't buy it now. Bought it specifically because it had the "hang up on caller" feature. Now there are only ignore and voicemail options. Does not work as well as it did for years either. Not sure what the developer/s did to mess up a good thing.

It's a good blocker of spam and robocalls. It probably catches 60 percent of the spam calls. It's probably impossible to catch every call because the spammers steal real phone numbers from people and change numbers often.

Been using this app since Gingerbread, now on Oreo. Paid almost $10 back in the day, not happy that they've removed some features to get more money from monthly subscriptions. Does a great job at blocking calls, but as a long time Pro user...that's all I use it for...I'm not paying again.

Received some annoying calls twice to three times a day. Installed 'Call Control' and the problem has been solved. AAA+

Changed language to French or some thing. How can I fix it??

So 3 days in and I get a popup telling me not to let my free trial expire. I thought this was a 60 day PREMIUM trial? I CERTAINLY DO NOT have full access during this trial. In fact, I have the Galaxy S7 & some premium features won't even work on my phone according to a response you gave to another user, so it is important to me to see what Call Control - Call Blocker will do for me before I decide to subscribe. Will update my rating once I use for another couple of weeks to see what happens.

No hangup feature. Instead it sends unwanted calls to voicemail. Voicemail confirms an active number to telemarketers so they can keep calling you back. I want the line to go dead with hangup, no voicemail. Uninstalling until this feature has been added.

This app works great. Very few unwanted calls make it passed this app. I like the fact you can add additional numbers so you can block annoying people, not just spam and community list numbers. Please expand this to work with Voip lines too.

I've been receiving email from a third party saying there is a current update to download now, only thru an unconfirmed website and not thru google app store. Hmmmmm, can you confirm?

Better than the competition! Be sure to explore the settings! However, many glitches on Moto G (5.1 OS). Inability to 'cut-off' calls very frustrating among other probs.

With this app I am able to block telemarketing, scam, spam etc and numbers that keep harassing me. The best feature is the use of wild cards. Very good app - whoever developed it deserves much praise and recognition!

The app crashes at least 3 to 4 times a month n on some calls. The phone. Still rings on some blocked calls. N. Allows. Txts to go through when they r supposed to be. Blocked. N. When. U turn it on after it s off. Some times. It crashes. Other then. That its. A good app. But plz. Fix these issues. N i l keep u up to date once these issues r fixed. Howie f

I'm a five year paid subscriber, so I know what I'm talking about. It only gets better with each update. I've had this app on Motorola, Kyocera and now Samsung. It blocks unwanted calls 99.9% of the time. It always blocks the calls on MY BLOCK LIST but periodically it does fail to block a number on the community block list if its only been reported by a small number. Otherwise, it's the best call block app on Google Play Store.

I'm really glad that I have this app. I don't deal with annoying unwanted calls. Would recommend it for everyone..... THANK YOU

I have tried several of these types of apps. This is by far the best. I have tried many. Been using this app for 5 years now. I try others on my work phone. None other are better than this one.

It blocks some calls and texts, and I can see why it blocked each one. Contributing to the community blacklist works easily. It hasn't done anything bad or unexpected, and it is well maintained.

Something is wrong with this app. I can't reject calls. The caller heard my phone ringing when I want them to be rejected. What's the point of this app if a caller thinks they rang you.

Everything is great with this app until after 2-3 months. Then the usefulness goes out the window unless you buy the premium membership. They don't mention this when you install it! Good luck...I uninstalled it.

It is a wonderful thing to have when you work third shift. All the annoying calls don't wake you up 20 times through the day when your trying to sleep.

I'm no longer able to configure the app to disconnect. The only options are ignore and to voice mail. Has this functionality been removed?

This service works really good for your phone. Especially, screening fake calls n predators.

Does the job and so far works OK for me, currently seems to be using more battery now, I accidentally deleted it and reinstalled it , but stay out of my account , well I don't want nor did I sign up for the 60 premium day trail so please omit it, I see your using deceptive marketing principles well that is common, I just need the free installation,,so I give you 5 stars

This app is the absolute best call control in all ways period. I got a replacement phone and the support guys were just great helping me transfer my registration key moved over. It's the absolute best in the market.

This is so awesome. This is so far the best call screening app for telemarketers and scammers I have tried 3 others not as functional as this one. I think this is the one to get!

I'm not a big user of my phone but this works a treat. Not getting anymore dodgy calls from scammers????????????

This app catches the phone calls that I don't want.My spam calls have gone down in a big way.

Awesome app, it worked for what I wanted... Aha... Unwanted international calls was blocked using some logics provided inside the app...

I have set up a block for all numbers with my area code, which worked on the first day, but hasn't since. Call log shows the number as one to be blocked, but it went through anyways

I just downloaded this app. A message appeared that I started a 60 day trial period. Will this turn into a must pay to keep app? Google Play Store says this app is free.

The app doesn't work as well as it should even if you're paying something each month is should completely stop these people from calling in getting through and they're still able to leave a message

REMINDER TO MYSELF THIS APP IS FISHY! Hell no I just tried and I got a warning about this app connecting with my account and access terms and use. The level of PRIVACY AND CONTROL THIS APP HAS OVER GOOGLE APP FOR CONTACTS EMAILS PLUS IT AFFECTED MY MESSAGING APP HELL NO I AM NOT USING AND THE WARNING I GOT FROM GOOGLE NO THANK YOU!

4/11/2016 After updates it is working the way it should. (Prior ) I am a longtime purchased subscriber of Call Control app which is broken" I continue getting an Error Message #505, performed all the mentioned TROUBLE SHOOTING and still not working. Uninstalled and now it wont even allow me to Renstall it. Please don't fix it" anymore if not broken. Hoping that I am speaking on the behalf of every consumer.

I'm sure hoping this app does what it says I picked it because of all the great reviews it has don't let me down ????

Its an app that I've been using for some time. Its good for keeping annoying calls away.

It works well for me. Keeps the spam calls down.
