Wanted to use it to take photos of another display. Manual shutter speed works perfectly for that. HOWEVER, after the app rotates for any reason (eg photo viewing) it then doesn't focus. The focus firstly just keeps rotation and nothing happens. Closing the app completely doesn't help. The only thing that helps is reinstalling the app. Please fix and that would be 5 stars.

Honestly, this is THE BEST CAMERA APP you will ever find. You can control so much of your photos. The options might feel complicated but trust me, these are what makes this app stand out. Not only versatile but also very light. And most importantly, without any ads. Please support the dev by buying the pro version, cause I would, if I could.

Really enjoy the app, however it is broken. Three times now it has crashed my phone to a black screen for ten minutes causing a mild panic as well as a loss of the photo opportunity I was trying to get. Unless this gets fixed it is ultimately useless to me. Each time it happened it was shortly after changing the shutter speed. The screen freezes for a minute and eventually the whole device just turns off.

This app was great for most of my devices. On current phone (Sony Xperia ZX1) the auto modes are continuously attempting balance and focus and unable to capture images. Very frustrating.

Not working correctly on my Samsung Note 8. Stuck in a mode and won't let me go back to a normal mode. Worked fine on Note 5. AND, it will not uninstall on my Note 8 phone.

PRIVACY CONCERN - Note 8 reports Camera FV-5 is accessing Camera permission even while it is not being used. In one thirty minute period, it used the Camera permission twenty times and I was not taking any pictures. Can anyone please explain this behavior?

I spent some time using this and, it's not as good as portrayed. Here are a few things I observed: • The settings and the menus take a while to appear. • When you select a custom shutter speed and then hit "cancel", all menus and interfaces disappear. I'm guessing it's a bug which needs to be fixed. • Speaking about the long exposure shot, it doesn't work well. The shutter is supposedly kept open for the specified interval, but it hunts for focus sometimes when the shutter is still open!? It doesn't lock itself. And the final results are worse than what we get on our stock camera apps, with some form of "night mode". So yeah, it needs some work. I'd skip this one for now, if I were you.

Nice features, but buggy on the pixel. Thwe image review function is not working right. I set it to store in the folder used by the stock camera app, and the images are totally out of order. At one point it was also reporting that images taken with this app had dates of 1969, 1970 etc. When I review the folder using a file browser all dates are correct.

The exposure mode is fake it just makes a drifting ghost effect it's not true exposure if it was my 10 second exposure would turn the photo white. I don't know if any of the other stuff like iso actually does anything or just is like a Photoshop type thing.

I like having the built in intervalometer to do time lapse and the ability to choose where to save images. You can save pictures to a micro usb thumb drive even. Would give 5 stars but some permissions are a bit more intrusive than necessary.
