About Scrap: Shopping List

Scrap is an application that replaces the torn piece of paper you usually uses to scribble down a shopping list.

A single list contains not just the items, but their costs and quantities, as well as a total and budget. Multiple lists can be created and each one may be personalised by changing the budget, currency, the list title, or the colour scheme. These lists and items can be created, saved, edited, or deleted at will.

Scrap therefore is an application that makes doing the weekly shop easier by aiding you to remember, and keep track of your buying habits.

No checkmarks for bought items. Price -- what for? Font is too big for two line names.

Simple but useful

This app is improving nicely. There are some fun new features and interface interactions which, while a little unintuitive to first discover, are nicely implemented when you do find them. It also feels a little simpler than the first release which is good to see. It's a lot of fun to add silly items to your shopping list. May I recommend adding a "wibble" for a bit of Blackadder nostalgia.

The look and feel are good but found below issues just using it for one day. 1. Currency INR is not working 2. Each item is occupying lot of space can be compact. 3. Most of the times we won't know the cost of item we need to buy like tooth paste, soap etc. 4. If we can have a graphical view or color difference between items in list based on cost, it will be handy to choose which item to remove when above budget. Will check back after couple of weeks if I can use it in next version
