About Stock Alerts
Stock Alerts help you track stocks, ETFs and mutual funds with ease of mind by way of automatic alerts.
You can also view the value of major market indexes and read top financial stories within the app.
You can create your own portfolio of stocks, ETFs, mutual funds. You can setup a global alert on all the symbols so that you will be notified if any symbol changes by a predefined percentage (5% by default). With the help of global alert, you don't have to set up alerts on the symbols one by one if you have a large portfolio. In addition to that, you can apply different alert settings based on value limit and/or percentage change on any individual symbol. The individual alert settings override the global alert setting. In addition to that, you can also set alerts on the major market indexes. Stock Tracker offers the most flexible and convenient alert settings so that you don't have to manually go through your portfolio every day looking for surprises. Just let the app do all the tracking job for you. If anything worthy of immediate attention shows up, you will be notified right away. If a symbol triggers the up-side limit, you get a green-light notification. Otherwise, you get a red light notification. The app includes an alert center which shows the entire alert history so that you don't miss anything by mistake.
You can customize the list of major market indexes to display in the market section of the app. The supported indexes include S&P 500, NYSE, NASDAQ, Dow Jones Industrial Average, FTSE 100, DAX, CAC 40, EURO STOXX 50, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng Index, SSE Composite Index, Straits Times Index, S&P/ASX 200, S&P/TSX Composite index. It helps you stay on top of the rapid changes among all the capital markets around the world.
You can easily import all the symbols from your Yahoo Finance Portfolios. The data provided for most of the symbols listed on US stock exchanges is real time, except for those ADR (American Depository Receipts) symbols which might have 15 minutes of delay.
