Ultra GPS Logger is a GPS Tracker which allows you to generate NMEA, KML and/or GPX logs with your GPS or GLONASS enabled Android device. It is able to keep GPS on during standby, which enables logging of a long period of time without the need of interaction with the device.
Ultra GPS Logger logs raw NMEA sentences! This is much more accurate than other products which just log every minute... It also supports intelligent KML/GPX output, which logs only real movement. Ultra GPS Logger also lets your device vibrate and flash its led in case the GPS fix is lost. Furthermore it represents your track on Google Map or Open Street Map!

With Google MyTracks being depreciated shortly, tried this one and a few others. This app seemed to have a lot of promice, but needs a data/wifi link all the time to validate licence. I wont have data or wifi where I use GPS the most ... in the mountains. Cant even *stop* a log without wifi/data (e.g. underground parkade). Uninstalled the trial before the week was up as the constant checking for licence over internet drove me crazy. Likely go with GeoTracker. Lack of speed & height plot also a big minus.

Cant get rid of the banner on pull down menu/notification area. And have a constant grey gps icon with app closed and not running in recent.. Used 10% in an hour. Not even using the app.. The idea of closing an app is that it goes away.. Not runs and runs and runs.. Smart phones can do a lot. But we dont want them doing everything all the time.. Why cant developers get that? ..... Got an email saying you had replied but nothing showing here....

Just downloaded the app thanks to Appgratis! I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it looks to have a lot of great features. I gave 4 stars until I try it out; that gives me room to go up or down as needed! Can't wait to try it!

Cannot save log to sd card, cannot find any way to contact the makers, looks like it would be perfect if these issues were sorted out, but not paying for an app when I cannot contact the maker!

Hello, I have installed the app and haven't used it yet, I need a certain feature that let's me record/log a trip and the next time I wann travel the same route i could just follow the saved route without using the Internet anymore.

Love the app but found one problem. I can't hold a zoom in on a log. As soon as I take my fingers of the screen the map goes back to full. So can't e.g add any POI after the trip. If this is solved definitely 5 stars.

With GPS on, it showed me walking about 1kilometre out on a lake. Uninstalled. I have a Garmin. I won't drown with it.

Been using this for over a year, for track logging and marking waypoints. It is feature-filled without being overwhelming. Wish it could auto-log more than once a day though.

If you are in a low signal area the Gps will not turn off and it blocks any internet and or phone call / text. Plus kills the batt in low signal area. Other than that is great app.

The Full version seems to have decent review, but decided to try Lite version before... don't bother!!! Everytime you try to do something or click the icon it says; License Validation in progress and does nothing. Even trying to close the app it tries to validate license... WTF?

I like this app. It's a bit confusing but I'm kookoo when it comes to tracking what I do and where I go. This app is the best one I've found so far. I hope you guys keep on improving it.
