Disc Golf Fanatic Trial for Android
This is a great app! You guys need one for ios, because a lot of my friends, unfortunately, have iphones.
This is nice, but like others said, they leave the mapping and course additions up to the users. There are plenty of other apps that have this info already in the app for you. I feel like if I am doing part of their work I should get rewarded with a free upgrade. There is not enough for me to upgrade on my own when i already purchased 2 other apps that have so many more courses already mapped in my area, where I dont have to do the work for the developers.
I'm fairly new to disc golf, I'm in Utah, so most of the courses or here haven't been mapped, but the mapping is fairly easy to do while playing. A couple things can be a little difficult to figure out, but I don't think they could really improve it, but it's been fun to see stats on my games and I've helped them add a couple new courses now. I just bought the full app, it's worth it.

Great app for disc golfers if playing on an open field. My 2 local courses have lots of trees and I tried to map them both but the tree were to much for the GPS to be accurate. There was one spot it showed me throwing from the same spot for 3 holes. Other than that I like it but gps definitely does not work in the trees with any accuracy. Not having multi player does kinda suck but would be a lot of work if trying to mark everybody throw. Like being able to see my distances.
No cources in my area have any mapped holes. Enough other better apps and maps make this unusable.
Thank you for changing the name. I'm switching back to an Android phone in September, and this will be the app I use!
Fun..
Seems like a good idea for an app, however, why does mapping a course count towards to 5 free games? If I have to map the local courses I play before I can even "use" the app properly, I would be left with 1 free game. I suggest that if you happen to help map a course while on the trial, it shouldn't count towards the overall 5 game limit. It doesn't quite make sense for users to do the grunt work for this app to actually be useful, and then have to pay for it. : note: I will be paying for the app before my next disc outing. The above is just a suggestion that wouldn't "burn" trial users.
