About AndroSensor
AndroSensor is the absolute all-in-one diagnostic tool that lets you know virtually everything about your device's status.

AndroSensor supports all the sensors an android device can have and it will tell you which of them are not supported by your hardware.
View in a single screen the data from all device's sensors in real time. Graphical and text output available for each sensor (graphs are not available for proximity, location and battery info).
- location, location provider, accuracy, altitude, speed and GPS NMEA data.
- Google maps to show the above info. Tapping on your location shows your address, postal code and location accuracy (if available)
- accelerometer readings, (incl. linear acceleration and gravity sensors)
- gyroscope readings,
- light sensor value,
- ambient magnetic field values,
- device orientation
- proximity sensor readings
- pressure sensor (barometer)
- relative humidity sensor
- temperature readings
- battery status, voltage, temperature and health
- sound level meter (decibel)
- If your device supports it, next to the sensor's name, you will see how much power the sensor consumes per hour in mA.
AndroSensor also allows you to record everything from your sensors into a CSV file.
To start recording sensor data, just swipe your finger to the right to reveal AndroSensor QuickBar and tap the record button (see screenshots)

Press MENU to toggle settings, determine which sensors you wish to monitor, see device info, system log file or the list of sensors that are unavailable for your device.
Swipe right to open the AndroSensor Quickbar and take a snapshot, start recording sensor data, or just toggle font size and decimal points.
- Device info gathers as much as it can and prints it out in a simple and easy-to-read view. Mobile signal strength, wifi info, CPU architecture, available and total RAM, internal and external memory, display metrics, OpenGLES version and kernel version are a small part of the information displayed. Clicking on a line copies it's content to clipboard. A multitouch test is also available.

- Graphs: You may choose how you want values to be displayed, via real-time charts or the good-old text layout. You may switch between graph and text output for each sensor by tapping on the sensor image on the left side. Sensors that have available graphs are distinct by the icon in the top left of the sensor specific section. Graphs are not available for Location and Proximity.

Super useful app, it's like having a tricorder in your phone. But even more important is the correct way he implemented ads. Yes, there are ads, but there's an easy option to pay a small fee to remove them. I have nothing against devs making money off their product. And I wish more would offer up this option. I find ads quite annoying and will almost always rather pay a sum to have them removed.

up until now i had a habbit of not writing bad revews. I always appreciate the effort. This time i felt obliged to write. As you must know, android microphones are built for human voice. In order for your app to be as accurate as possible, you must calibrate your tool accordingly. I was honestly insulted to be represented with partial work, especially where it matters, treating us as morans.

How do I calibrate my accelerometer. I want mine to be reset cuz my phone accelerometer is not responding. When I play games my screen just keeps turning landscape and reverse landscape. This is very annoying. Plzzz help me and I will rate you five stars (Samsung galaxy core)

After much searching, I found this app, which meets all of my needs for logging sensor data. The only downside (sort of nitpicking ) is that there is not separate time stamp for GPS, which has a unique timing from the IMU. This causes some issues with taking derivatives.

I used this app to collect accelerometer data, and I think this is quite good except freezes. I set the frequency to 20hz (0.05 sec), and a taller guy was asked to carry the smartphone to collect accelerometer data. But the data stored while he was walking had same x,y, and z values for some time. It might be caused by some extreme values or the cheap ($40) smartphone, I guess. So I am not sure I can use this for my research and trying to figure out what the exact problem is.

Just one thing.... Can you please add support for the Camera too(including USB ones ) ... It would suit for recording adventure activities and later synchronisation with pc apps.... Loved your app.. Great job

I had an idea of what was wrong with my s6 edge now I have that narrowed to the exact value and of what, there may be an app to fix it before I throw the phone across the room! Its equally annoying downloading fix it apps when you aren't getting a clear idea of the problem. U cant get into phones diagnostic menu with Verizon anymore. So thx for this app. I may have to exchange phone i just dread it.

Is there a way to record when the GPS data is updated? I want to collect data from accel gyro and gps/I know I can set sampling to about 100 hz for the accel and gyro, but GPS only updates at 1 hz. If I set app to sample at 100 hz, is it possible to know when the app is showing a new sample from GPS?

Nice app. Unfortunately it appears that there are issues with the MPL / Orientation: 1. Does not work if the update rate is "too" large (>= 0.5 sec. ?) 2. Large deviation of single values from mean, e.g. 50.2, 50.0, 50.0, !!45.0!!, 50.5, 50.0, 50.4, ... Std deviation seems to be too large too. Does not happen with other similar sensors / compass apps (at same update rate). Also, 'Recording Interval' value changes on edit.

App icon looks very ugly. Please make app icon minimalist and materialistic. Also app also should be materialistic in design. Still app ia very nice except accuracy as it give values in whole numbers.
