Half Marathon Trainer Free for Android
"I love working out with this app. Music plays while I'm jogging and the voice over tells you to walk/run, no need to keep track of time yourself. Gps works great, I've never had a problem with this app. I highly recommend it!"
- Delia Ronson
"I tried several until I found this one. Love that I can customize it to play and do what I want and it's very flexible when wanting to repeat days :) Have recommended it to many people!!"

The app was not reliable. I would be in the middle of running and check the time and found out the app quit. I listen to pandora while running. This may be part of the issue.
It's an okay app but the only thing I wish it stays on while my phone goes on power saving mode so the trainer can continue to tell me what to do without monitoring the time on the screen. Once my phone goes off it does not talk to you anymore.
Love the increments in which it has you train but ads are a bit annoying before the training section but I am using the free ap so it could be so much worse
Pros.. it tracks your progress and tells u when to stop and end. It also tracks how far you run.. cons:it crashes sometimes.. it doesn't allow u to connect to Facebook. . It sometimes does not tell u to run and or walk when it should...overall I have enjoyed it....
App cut out 3 times during workout. Had to restart & skip to point I was at 3x
Can't get into the "more" area. Just freezes and shows a blank screen...
Distances were about 50% out from actual disrance ran half of the audio commands don't work and the pace said I was breaking the speed limit. Other than for a giggle this app is useless
Nice to tune out while tuning into my music.
I really didn't like this running app. It's way off with the distance and my average speed. Also the last time I put it on it didn't even do anything. I uninstalled this.
Day 1 of training and it stopped working twice. Had to guess when to walk and jog and estimate time.
Great way to get back into it without getting discouraged.
This app is junk. The ads are insane and it quits all the time. Find something else.
There are glitches in sound notifications, so that you have to check what to do.
Totally not as intimidating as I thought! Wahoo! Great start, thanks!
Awesome how it steps you up and you realize that your actually running distances in no time
I liked the build up and if you have to use someone else's phone one day, you can just in the app and edit the day you missed. And you can use other apps with it like Pandora or Spotify and it will pause the music to let you know what to do.
An OK app to get you started
Stops in the middle of a run. Popups are a killer when trying to restart it.
I love that this app tells you what to do and for how long. It has a timer and calls out what comes next! I have never been a runner and i am setting a goal of a half marathon!
Great app but problems with glitches and it starting over for no reason sometimes.
I like the increments for a beginner such as myself. I'm still unsure abouy some of the increments, Luke going directly from running 30 minutes as a long run, to running 30 to walk a few minutes, to running 30 immediately afterward. The voice alerts only seem to work on the first run/walk cycle. Which is terribly annoying because you have to keep the app up on your screen in order to get the alert. Can do that with my phone in a case on my armband.
Pros.. it tracks your progress and tells u when to stop and end. It also tracks how far you run.. cons:it crashes sometimes.. it doesn't allow u to connect to Facebook. . It sometimes does not tell u to run and or walk when it should...overall I have enjoyed it....
Doesn't alert you to switch between jog/walk when phone goes to sleep. I had to disable the auto sleep on my phone so I knew when to run and walk.
This program stops in the middle and goes back to the beginning as if you ever started. Frustrating. Tried it four different days and it only work right one day.
I'm training for my first half marathon. I've only ran three 5k's and one 10k in my life. I found this app very helpful because it tells you when to run and when to walk. Also, you can play music while in the app, that's probably the best thing about it. I like the daily plan over the twelve weeks, it seems achievable. It sort of builds up the time so that your body can adjust. I recommend this if you're training for a half marathon!
Wish it was linked to music but functions perfectly.
Keeps me honest and motivated.
It won't let me connect to social media...
It is great. It slowly increase the running time.
I have ran a lot of 5k's but never a half marathon I really hope this works
Cap city training
It's ok
most people who can do a 5k probably want to start at wk 7.
Works great, no music with it and has ads, but what do you expect with FREE.
And free
Good app
Works for whole workout and crashes at the end!!! Super annoying!!!
Keeps running advert apps randomly!!
Pros: the plan seems good, works with music. Cons: the distance is extremely off and because of that the pace is off, would like audible notifications for when to change pace.

The only issue I have with this app is that it does not verbally tell you when to walk, when to run, and when the cool down starts; it only vibrates at you, which makes it hard to feel when you are wearing your phone on your arm. I would highly recommend voice prompts, if at all possible.
