About Swimming Strength Training

Use this app to get in top physical shape for swimming.
The time you put in the weight room will make you a faster and stronger swimmer. To improve your speed and improve your lap time, you will need to be able to master all of the exercises in this program. Swimming is a sport that requires a lot of practice, correct technique, and proper conditioning. This app will help you get your body in swimming shape - so you can optimize the muscles needed to dominate swimming.
This app can be used for all four events: freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
App Focuses on Following Muscle Groups
Upper Body
CHEST - you will see exercises such as chest press. This is because in the freestyle the upper chest and shoulders are important.
BACK - back muscles are the most important. Included are lat pull downs with a wide grip, seated row with a narrow grip, and standing pull downs (plus others).

QUADS - seated quad extensions.
HAMSTRINGS - mainly machines.

Program is Divided into 4 Layers of Training
Endurance - to decrease risk of injury and allow you to do more intense workouts
Strength - build strength (less reps, higher weight)
Speed - focus on explosive strength (moving weight faster or more quickly with more power)
Tapering Off - Maintenance (before your season or competition)
